The Den is situated high on the side of a secluded glen in the Cairngorms National Park. Set on level ground and enjoying a south westerly view into the glen, The Den is suitable for visitors who have mobility difficulties.

The surrounding countryside of the Glenlivet Crown Estate is ideal for walking, wildlife watching, fishing, mountain biking, skiing and many other outdoor pursuits.

It's central location halfway between Aviemore and Royal Deeside also makes it an ideal base for exploring north eastern Scotland.

Further details

Visitors are welcome to bring well-behaved dogs by prior arrangement only. Please keep dogs under strict control as our holiday cottages are in the midst of open farmland and sheep and cattle graze the adjoining pasture. There are a number of way-marked tracks nearby which are good for dog walking.

The Den has two large storage heaters for background heating. Additional heaters are provided in the lounge / diner and bedrooms for the colder months of the year. Cot, highchair and extra beds are all available upon request at no additional charge. There is a common utility room with telephone, freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Electricity for the storage heaters and overnight hot water are included in the rental. Other electricity is metered and must be paid for on departure.
