Two hundred meters away stands a Commando memorial to those killed in the First World War. The local shop and Glenelg Inn is a five minute walk and the Glenelg car ferry (toll) that crosses to Skye is three miles away.
Pets particularly like the freedom of the area with few restrictions on access, there is an abundance of wildlife from birds, otters, cattle, sheep, fish etc and there are numerous walks. For the more serious walkers there are the five sisters of Kintail or any of the many surrounding hills.
