From the owner

A Log cabin in a half acre magical garden with a hot tub (available 9am -8pm). A peaceful place for quiet stays. The garden backs onto open fields. The cabin is one large space with 1 double bed and 2 double sofabeds in it and a kitchenette with a kettle, toaster, fridge, double hob and 3-in-1 microwave/convection oven/grill. It is an unique building with European Larch interior cladding, sheepswool insulation, led lighting and is mostly triple-glazed. It has electric heating and a large woodburner ( bring your own firelighters, kindling and logs ). It is very warm, cosy and quiet. It has an adjoining wet room with electric shower and toilet which also has sheepswool insulation and is double-glazed. It is near wonderful nature reserves in the Somerset Levels, and amazing cycling areas , the famous town of Glastonbury, Englands' smallest City, Wells, Cheddar Gorge and Clarks Village in Street for designer shopping and it is only 10 mins off the M5. .A good pub The King William, Catcott is 500m away and a well-stocked village shop is 1 mile away. At weekends and some peak times a minimum 2 night stay is required unless you are a group of 4 or more. Not suitable for children or pets. The onsite owner ( a full-time therapist for 24 years) offers a range of HolisticTherapies from £25 . Message ffi.

Please note due to covid and health precautions that are in place guests need to bring their own bedding, towels and tea towels at the moment. There is an enhanced cleaning regime in place and the double bed mattress has a full zipped waterproof cover on it now Thanks Janie :)

Why can't I call Janie (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Janie (the owner) a message.

If Janie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
