Welcome to our Victorian family home on the leafy Southside of Glasgow. The house is on three levels providing guests with the chance to enjoy each other's company or take some peace and quiet in either our relaxing drawing room with woodburner, comfortable downstairs TV lounge or bedrooms. The house is clean, extremely spacious and well-equipped.

The space:

Our spacious Victorian family home has the following rooms:

Ground Floor - Family Kitchen and Living Room with Sofa Bed

First Floor - 3 Double Bedrooms (1 EnSuite), Family Bathroom and Formal Drawing Room

Second Floor - Large full height attic room set up as Bedroom with an additional bathroom.

The sleeping accommodation is as follows:

Bedroom 1 - King Size Bed (extra long at 7') and optional added Single

Bedroom 2 - King Size Bed and 2 optional added Singles

Bedroom 3 - King Size Bed

Bedroom 4 - Super King Size Bed plus optional added 2 singles

Second Living Room - Double Sofa Bed

In addition, for younger guests we have a travel cot.

We accept a maximum of 10 adults in the house but can be flexible about children in addition to the 10 adults.

The kitchen table seats 8 people and an extra table can be added and there is a highchair for babies.

The drawing room seats 8 people and extra chairs can be added with room for children.

For insurance purposes we can not accommodate any more than 12 guests staying in the property and we do not allow guests to invite additional people into the property during their stay. Since we have a neighbour in the basement flat and live in a quiet residential area, we also ask that guests keep noise to a minimum at certain times of the day (before 7am and after 10.30pm) both inside and outside. We also ask guests to remove their shoes before going upstairs.

Guest access:

You will have access to the whole house during your stay. There is a flat in the basement of our house which is separately owned and has it's own front door at the back of the house and you will not have access to this. You have full use of the garden at the front of the house, including a seating area.

Other things to note:

With an older Victorian house comes a lot of stairs! Guests should note that there are two initial steps going up to the front door and further stairs within the property as it is set across three floors. While there is the option of a bedroom on the ground floor, both the bathroom and formal lounge sit upstairs. If guests have any concerns over the layout of the property or potential mobility issues, please do not hesitate to get in touch and we can discuss things more fully.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
