Location description from owner

The Scotland region

The Central Scotland / Strathclyde / Lanarkshire/Glasgow region
Glasgow is a great Scottish city! Great location for culture, entertainment and high street shopping, including theatres and art galleries such as Kelvingrove Art Gallery or Burrell Collection, and Buchanan Shopping Galleries, Princes Square, Argyle Arcade – all a must. Add House of Fraser, John Lewis and a huge Nike store along the street and your calendar is full. Sauchiehall Street and Argyle connect and are also known for their shops. Buchanan is the main shopping thoroughfare in Glasgow, second only to Oxford in London. The subway has a station there, which is very user friendly.

Glasgow

The Glasgow / West End, Glasgow area
Contrary to what we had been led to believe, Glasgow is a happening place and the West End is where it's at. Trendy, vibrant, something for everyone. From the Botanical Gardens to the University of Glasgow to the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum to a strop down the various lanes your senses will be engaged. Great pubs and restaurants
The more you go to the West End of Glasgow, the more you love it. So different from the thumping concrete heart of the city, the west end is more civilised and well, leafy. Life is a bit slower here and you should slow down your pace and enjoy your surroundings. Visit Hogwarts, (another name for Glasgow University), it's free...
Visitors must come here. Many bars, cafes, restaurants and shops. Don't miss all the smaller places up lanes and backstreets. All very well lit and safe. Plenty of fun to be had all year long.

“Lovely spacious flat in the centre of Glasgow”

Reviewed 9 Sep 2014

3 good sized bedrooms, good sized bathroom, kitchen and living room. All in all, a perfect flat in the centre of Glasgow.

“Tastefully Designed, Well equipped, Well Maintained Apartment”

Reviewed 26 Aug 2014

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment, made to feel very much at home. Three spacious bedrooms tastefully decorated and furnished. Large kitchen and dining area made dining together a highlight of our stay. The kitchen is very well equipped. The living room is also very well thought out, with large Tv screen, DVD and ample space to lounge around it is a great place to chill out after a day shopping or sight seeing. We also appreciated how clean the apartment was. Would be very happy to stay here again.

“Great location and value”

Reviewed 4 Jul 2014

We were traveling to Glasgow to visit relatives in the area but wanted to do a fair amount of sightseeing too. This place was perfect for us. Very clean, tastefully decorated, with plenty of fresh linens/towels and a handy kitchen so we could save money with home breakfasts, etc. We were also delighted to discover that the apartment was only one block away from the "Hop on - hop off" bus tour we booked! Misia was very accommodating and responsive to any inquiries we had, she was indeed very helpful. For our family, (2 adults and 4 small kids) the place was perfect.
