Our apartment is located on the rooftop of a converted historic building, originally built by the office of Charles Rennie Mackintosh.

The modern conversion comfortably sleeps 4 in two double bedrooms, one of which is ensuite. The lounge and both bedrooms have direct access onto a large private roof garden which looks towards the West End across Park Circus and receives sunlight all day between Spring and Autumn.

We want you to have an amazing stay in our apartment. We will personally check you in and be available to answer any queries you might have before or during your stay.

This apartment has been our home for the last 12 years and it's location in the centre of the city with private outdoor space makes it perfect for families with children, as everywhere is within walking distance. We love the vibrancy of this part of the city centre which is surrounded by shopping, culture, arts, restaurants and bars. With this city centre apartment you have immediate access to visual art and music venues, Glasgow School of Art and great shopping and eating. Buchanan Street, Glasgow's main shopping artery is a leisurely 10 minute walk or you can go slightly further afield and take in smaller boutique shopping and dining experiences of the west end, only a 20 minute walk or by easy access public transport. Glasgow is blessed with beautiful parks and Kelvingrove is again nearby for when you need a little time out. Closer, and much smaller is Garnethill Park, a little oasis for the residents of Garnethill and the Art School students. The GFT is a marvellous cinema dating from circa 1930's and shows a fantastic array of art house and some mainstream new releases. It is only a 5 minute walk and has a lovely bar should you want to arrive early. So if you are looking for some culture, shopping or even a little rest from the hustle and bustle this apartment meets all your needs.

Within a 5 minute walk you have access to an underground station at Cowcaddens, Charing Cross Railway Station with connections to Queen Street and Central Station should you decide to venture beyond Glasgow. There are numerous bus stops which easily connect the apartment to the West End. Buchanan Street bus station is a 10 minute walk and taxi stand is parallel. The airport is a 15 minute bus ride away and there are many designated airport bus stops within the city centre or from Buchanan Bus Station. The closest stop is Waterloo Street and Pitt Street, so literally at the bottom of the street! There is free on street parking from 6pm to 8am Monday to Saturday with free parking all day Sunday, there is also manned car park also available within 5 minute walk.

In order to respect our neighbours we do not allow any parties at our flat and smoking is prohibited within the apartment and throughout the entire building, including the outside terrace.

“Warm, lovely apartment in a central location”

The apartment is clean, bright and very comfortable. It was a pleasure to work with Elizabeth and we had a wonderful stay in the apartment and in Glasgow. The apartment is full of light and has many windows and a beautiful patio with a wonderful view of the city. We were in Glasgow for the World Bagpipe Championships and found the location to be central and close to train stations, restaurants and museums. Elizabeth left wonderful notes and tips on places to visit. This is a very lovely, warm apartment that we highly recommend.
