Description

Your holiday home is located right in the heart of the Causeway Coastal Route, right in the middle of all the gems of the area. This is a great gateway to the Causeway Coastline. The jewel of the Giant's Causeway is surrounded by a range of beautiful golden sandy beaches, ancient ruins, wonderful country landscapes and sea views with miles of walks along the shore or through the country. This is an area Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) of scenic contrasts from white chalk to basalt cliffs, sandy shores with acres of sand dunes into rolling green hills through the peat lands to St Patrick's home at Slemish Mountain, a volcanic plug in the centre of the Antrim Plateau.

The World famous Royal Portrush Golf Course, Portstewart Golf Course and Bushfoot Golf Course are all within a few miles of each of the houses. We are based in a small triangle of three lovely villages, Portballintrae, Bushmills and Portrush.

Our three bedroom bungalow is ideal for families, groups of golfers or friends. We are pet friendly with a fully enclosed rear garden with sun patio and BBQ area which gets the sun from 11am till sunset. The bungalow is modern, full central heating and we provide for an open fire for winter visitors. There is one double bed room with ensuite, one twin bedroom and one twin bunk room (adult size). There is also a bathroom with integral shower. The living room has freeview TV with DVD player and music system, the bunk room and kitchen have TV sets. The kitchen and dining area are an L shaped integral room that leads into a small sun room which catches the afternoon and evening sun. There is a separate Landry Room. Bushmills Cottage is located in a quiet cul-de-sac on the outskirts of town. It is 8 minutes walk to the nearest shop and good restaurant / bar and 2 more minutes into the centre. Bushmills town is the home of Bushmills Distillery (a must to visit), is slightly larger than Portballintrae with a range of restaurants from fine dining to excellent cafes and coffee shops. Bushmills has a host of good shops with the best fruit & vegetable and the best butchers in the area. You are 8 minutes drive from the Giant's Causeway, 4 mins from Portballintrae, Bushfoot Golf Course and the nearest beaches. Portrush is only 8 mins drive away. Prices include all bedding, heating and energy costs.
