“Overall Amazing Experience”
We travel to Europe annually and have visited many countries. No where in our travels have we met such a kind and thoughtful person as Frank. We felt completely at home mostly due to his careful planning of his property and famous words "don't worry". You truly need not worry when Frank is helping you. This trip has been a special one for us as it was our first to Malta and Gozo. The hospitality of the Maltese and Gozoitans ware unparalleled to any other country we have been to. “In love with Gozo”
This trip was by far one of the best we have taken, and it had a lot to do with the location of Mediterranea and Frank! Frank was an incredible host. Not only did he brief us on what Gozo had to offer, but he also gave us directions on how to get to those places. We really feel like we experienced all of Gozo's historical sites and their secret gems in the short amount of time we were there. The people of Gozo are incredible! This community is one of the nicest and giving places we have ever visited.Also, the location of the Mediterranea was perfect! We were walking distance to all the necessities (grocery, restaurants, ferry, bus stops, etc.); and you cannot beat any of the gorgeous views on any of it's 3 terraces. Everything was perfect! Clean, plenty of towels and linens, lunch upon our arrival, and all of the amenities you can think of! You really get 5-star service/experience, while living in the comfort of your own home. I cannot say enough good things about Gozo, the Mediterranea, and Frank. We miss it already!

Gozo is "like Malta but slower paced" - beautiful tiny beaches, temples, and a couple of very characterful small towns- great if you like to take it easy on holiday (as we do)! This house has a terrace with a fantastic view across Comino to Malta, and that's the main attraction; you can sit for hours with a ftira and a bottle of wine, watching the boats. The house is, like many holiday rentals, slightly idiosyncratic but quite well equipped, with own parking space right outside. Owner very enthusiastic and friendly. Some great local restaurants within a couple of minutes drive (especially D Bar in Qala).
Owner's reply: Whilst thanking our special guests, I would like to point out two aspects for the benefit of our readers. First, the house is actually very well equipped. Two of the three bedrooms are with A/C, fans, heaters and safe deposit. There are two bathrooms, one of them ensuite with surround music. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, hob, oven, fridge freezer, microwave, two coffee machines, toaster, juicer, blender and lots of utencils. There are also fresh herbs – rosemary, mint and basil. There are two living rooms with Intercom, log fireplace, satellite TV, DVD and new computer PC with broadband internet and two sofabeds. FREE Wi-Fi access. At Mediterranea there are a seaview balcony, a countryview veranda, a countryview terrace with BBQ, a seaview terrace and a roof sunbathing area with 360 degrees seaviews. Besides, we are one of the fewest rentals to promote environmental sustainability. Infact, we provide FREE bicycles and helmets for couples & families to discover Gozo on two wheels. There is also a library corner of books for all ages, including children. We also provide 3 information folder packs full of Gozo insights. There are also 4 information noticeboards and a whole section of Gozo Walking Guide Books. Recommended restaurant menus are avaialble too. There are also an automatic washing machine, a tumble dryer, picnic cooler, yoga mat, umbrellas, shopping bags, first aid box and safety features on every floor. Secondly, the house is heavenly blessed with a unique 360 degrees seaviews location. In fact, it is only 10 to 15 minutes walk to three (not 1) villages in Gozo! Besides, it's only 10 minutes walk to Mgarr where 10 waterfront restaurants (several award winning ones), pubs, large supermarket, tourist info & boat cruises are all nearby. So, one can definitely do without a car. In brief, it is only just 1 minute walk to Arriva buses and hop-on hop-off bus. Boat cruises, ferries to Malta, boats to Comino and Blue Lagoon beach, two car hire companies, diving centre, children’s park, ATM and seaplane are less than 10 minutes walk. To make things even easier, every day the greengrocer and the bakery vans stop by so one can buy daily fresh fruits, vegetables and bread without the need to walk to shops. These are just a few of the many advantages one gets when staying at Mediterranea – not to mention of course the peaceful laid back atmosphere as well as the quality and comfort standards this fantastic property contains.
