Praa Sands itself boasts beautifully white sand and is favoured by families. Other attractions nearby include St Ives, home to the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth Museum, the Minack Open Air Theatre, cut into the side of the rugged cliff-side and showing both local and national productions, The Lizard, Marazion and National Trust St Michael’s Mount, The Eden Project, and Penzance, offering numerous galleries and independent shops. Its neighbour Newlyn, boasts the biggest fishing harbour in England and the quaint fishing village of Mousehole is also within easy reach. Outdoor enthusiasts can partake in golf, fishing and numerous walking opportunities.
