At Le Bois du Chillou you can rent in total privecy the completely renovated castle extensions on 1 hectare of land in the beautiful Loire valley, the house and the studio both next to the pool, 8 persons in maximum comfort (8 pers. max. in the houses ) with unique luxuries such as children's playground, orchard,lane, exclusive use of swimming pool and a New tennis court. The property's spacious interior is decorated by a professional designer. ( the spacious main house with 3 double bedrooms with each own bath/ shower room and large studio with double bed, sitting area and large bathroom )

Private use of many terasses and dining area’s.

Pool heating on request €100,-p.w. on request.

Security deposit €500,- refunded after departure and controle of the property.

Only week rental from Saturday to Saturday.

When rented the owners are never in the castle longer than one night (very rare) and there are no other buildings for rent on the property. ( total privecy, no trafic,no neighbours )

The location, meanwhile, is perfect for a quiet and relaxing break in rural France. The property is situated in a peaceful countryside area, surrounded by fields of sunflower and corn and close to the famous castles of the Loire valley. The views - of the medieval castle, fields and woods - are stunning. All in all, this property offers you a unique opportunity to stay next to a castle in the Loire valley.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Kari (the owner) a message.

If Kari (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
