Renovated throughout in February 2023 and set on over 350 acres, you'll find Garden Cottage offers you total privacy to relax and recharge in the stunning scenery of the North East of Scotland.
Overlooking the private garden the large open plan kitchen/dining/living room is complete with wood burner. From the lounge area you'll be able to open the French doors onto the patio and enjoy a coffee as you plan the day ahead.
Sleeping four in two Super King sized beds (the second bedroom can be made up as twin beds but please let us know if this is required at time of booking), we also have a z-bed for a young child (up to age 6), but please be aware this does reduce floor space considerably.
There's a family bathroom with shower over the bath and an en-suite shower room. The utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer, under the counter size freezer, iron and ironing board.
The recent additional of an environmentally friendly bio mass boiler means the cottage is lovely and warm 24/7.
There are no other holiday rentals here so you'll be able to enjoy the cottage in a beautiful and peaceful setting. There's no hidden extras and we even provide "the little things" such as washing powder, dishwasher tablets and extra bin bags. Oh, and not forgetting logs if you'd like to light the wood burner or fire pit.
Garden Cottage is ideally situated for relaxing (doing nothing!) or exploring castles and tucked away little coastal coves. Follow the Whisky Trails, play golf at one of the excellent nearby golf courses or enjoy some great fishing and shooting - all are within easy reach. Pack a picnic (cooler & basket provided) and enjoy the beautiful nearby beaches, some of which are award winning, at Hopeman, Inverboyndie, Cullen, Fraserburgh, Banff and Findhorn or visit the lovely old fishing villages of Pennan, Crovie, Gardenstown, Portsoy, Sandend and Whitehills which are all a very short drive away.
We are Pet Friendly and welcome two well behaved dogs. We do not charge for pets, but guests must let us know at time of booking if they are bringing a pet/s with them and do ask you respect our house request to keep pooch out of the bedrooms.
Guests may arrive at the cottage anytime after 4PM and departure is by 10AM
PLEASE NOTE Our rates DO NOT include the charging of electric cars. If you wish to use the cottage electric to charge, please speak to us prior and at this time we will check the daily rate with our supplier and let you know the cost

This is an outstanding property. Equipped with everything you need, even for the dog! We arrived to a warm, cosily lit (better than) home from home, music gently playing and a very generous welcome hamper plus birthday gift for my partner. Spotlessly clean with all the comforts including dog blankets, scented candles and fully stocked wood basket. There is a spirit of generosity throughout the home. I cannot recommend this place enough.
We arrived late to a very welcoming cosy cottage with the wood fire roaring, lights on and a lovely bottle chilling in the fridge. Anthony and Carrie could not have done enough for us, they are excellent hosts and have a really wonderful property. We can't recommend it enough.
Look no further! The many touches (often forgotten) from the fire, welcome basket and hot radiators are important, immediately letting you know it's "their place" - not something you often find
When I made the booking I mentioned it was my wife's birthday - a very nice gift was left cooling in the fridge with a hand written note. Nice personal touches here, not just the birthday bottle but from the very welcoming owners who were extremely friendly
Two flat living city families staying and everyone agreed they LOVED their stay here. There is a HUGE garden for the children to play safely while we watched them enjoying drinks on the patio. Marshmallow toasting at the firepit was a real treat for the children. Everything about our stay was unforgettable and we would love to return. We all have great memories of our stay, thank you
