From the owner

Little Nod is a cosy holiday chalet that is available all year round and is ideal for couples or families. Welcombe is a picturesque coastal village with a beautiful beach, a fantastic thatched pub and a village shop. Walking is good with the coast path and a nature reserve nearby. There is a shared garden for residents only and a patio with garden furniture.

The property consists of 1 double bedroom, 1 bunk bedroom, a bathroom and an open plan lounge/dining room/kitchen. The bathroom has a wash basin, toilet and an electric shower over the bath. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, fridge/freezer and washing machine. There is a tumble dryer in the porch, a washing line and an ironing board and iron. There is a Graco travel cot and booster seat high chair if needed.

We welcome one well behaved dog.

The wall mounted modern radiator in the living room is very efficient and there are wall mounted oil filled radiators in the bedrooms. There is a heated towel rail and a fan heater in the bathroom. There is also a moveable oil filled radiator and a small convector heater.

The lounge area has a flat screened 40" Smart TV with Freeview and a DVD player which has a USB point for memory sticks. There is a small DVD library for your use, as well as some books and a few games. There is a radio/CD in the living room and a clock/radio the main bedroom.

The electricity is supplied by a £1 coin meter. We leave 100 credits in this and it is currently set at prices prior to April 2022. Please bring coins to cover additional usage (Approx.£30 depending on time of year and usage) and don't let it fall below 50 credits.

There is a phone with anytime calls, short calls to mobiles and unlimited broadband which is included in the rental price.

We provide bedlinen, hand towel, tea towels and bathmat, but you need to bring your own bath towels.

Little Nod is a non smoking premises.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Chrissy (the owner) a message.

If Chrissy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
