Situated in South LIncolnshire within easy reach of the Lincolnshire/North Norfolk coast ( 1-1.5 hours), Lincolnshire Wolds and Rutland Water (to name but a few)!. Spalding is within driving distance of the market towns of, Boston, Bourne, KIngs Lynn & Stamford. The area is steeped in history and offers a multitude of interesting visits from the fenland reserves to the cathedrals of LIncoln, Peterborough & Ely. Other areas of interest are the historic houses (Burleigh, Grimsthorpe, Belvoir) , a wealth of medieval churches, aviation history and its ancestral history ( pilgrim fathers, Matthew Flinders etc) The sky scapes and sunrise/sunsets can be extraordinary. The cottage has a river and landing stage outside the property for coarse fishing. The property has a number of green credentials and is centrally heated via an air source heat pump. Guests can be collected from Spalding train/bus station if they just want to escape the bustle of modern living and unwind in the peace & tranquillity of South LIncolnshire.     How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

    If Trevor (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
