South Point Cottage is a 3 bedroom, charming, lake front cottage, an outdoor pool with spectacular views of the Koggala Lake. The cottage is secluded, romantic, serene and peaceful. On two sides of the property is a cinnamon plantation and on another side is the garden of an ancient temple. The temple is quiet and peaceful place in which to meditate.

Only a 1 km to the closest beach.

Centrally located and a short distance to restaurants, the Galle Fort, Unawatuna and Mirissa beaches, and surfing spots.

Ideal for couples, families and friends. Children welcome. Cots and high chairs can be provided. The property is by the banks of the lake.( a fence can be fitted around the verandah and balcony if there are very small children)

The air conditioned master bedroom (with ceiling fans too) is on the 1st floor. The en suite large and spacious bathroom with His and Her's wash basin has large windows that offer stunning views of the waters outside. The expanse of the window provides a beautiful view of the lake.

A safe is available in the master bedroom.

The sitting area has sofas and throw cushions, easy chairs, Cable TV and DVD player and ceiling fans. Long balconies on two sides also provide stunning views of the lake.

The ground floor has 2 air conditioned bedrooms with attached bathrooms. The Lake View room has a double bed. The Garden View room has 2 single beds and a bunk bed making it an ideal children's room. This room can sleep up to 4 guests.

All bathrooms have rainfall showers and hot and cold water on tap. Soap, shampoo, toiletries, white bath towels and pool towels provided.

Living and dining areas are on the veranda. Dining table seats 8 comfortably and overlooks the swimming pool and lake. Dinner can be arranged on the pier or garden on request.

The kitchen is centrally located and fully equipped. Guests are welcome to walk into the kitchen and prepare their own meals or watch the cook prepare gourmet dishes.

Staff comprises the cook, houseboy and caretaker. The staff is well trained, efficient, friendly, courteous and discreet. A manager is on call. He will visit the property once a day and at any other time needed.

A well maintained garden and a pier invite guests to relax and read, meditate, watch the sun set or the local fishing canoes glide by. At a distance you can watch the seaplane land and take off.

A boat, paddle boats and canoe available.

Yoga classes can be arranged. A masseur trained at the Galle Ayurveda hospital will bring her herbal oils for Ayurveda massages.

Standby generator available. This is to ensure our guests are comfortable at all times.

south point cottage is very close to the water and pool. If there are young children within 30 minutes we can fix a fence around the verandah and on the balcony. At the top of the staircase there is a child safely 1/2 door.
