Sunnyhill is a comfortable croft house which has been extended and renovated to a high standard, and is ideal for a relaxing holiday, but with plenty to do in the surrounding area. It is situated on the coast road some six miles from Gairloch in the hamlet of Peterburn.The house has three spacious bedrooms; one king sized bed with en suite bathroom; one king sized with TV, and one single. The sitting room has Freeview HD TV, DVD library, books, and games. A telescope and binoculars are provided, ideal to enjoy the beautiful views from the sitting room. The area has abundant wildlife; there are regular sightings of seals, dolphins, whales, otters and sea birds. Photographers will have many opportunities; walkers and cyclists can enjoy spectacular coastal and mountain scenery. Sea and loch fishing is available; sea kayaking and whale watching trips from Gairloch to spot wildlife or to visit outlying islands. There are beautiful beaches close by at Gairloch, Big Sand and Redpoint. The

The mountain ranges of Torridon, the Beinn Eighe Nature Reserve, the Applecross peninsula, and Ullapool, gateway to the Western Isles are all within reach.

Gairloch

Gairloch has a beautiful beach and an atmospheric harbour, where widlife spotting, whale watching, sea fishing and sailing trips depart. There is a pony trekking centre, a small golf course, and a Heritage museum. Guided walking, climbing and sea kayaking trips are available. The village shops can cater for everyday needs, and there is a good choice of restaurants.
