Description

Mansarda dos Aranhas is a boutique style, fully certified holiday penthouse. It has all the comfort and highest standards in equipment. This recently refurbished apartment is on the last two floors of a building (with lift) located in one of the oldest streets in Funchal.

Downstairs there is the living/dining room and the kitchen, as well as a small terrace with lots of sunshine and a nice view.

Upstairs there is the master bedroom; a small and quaint bedroom suitable for a child; the bathroom; a reading area (with a selection of books) and a sitting nook.

The master bedroom is nicely decorated and spacious with a queen size bed and a balcony with mountain and castle views. Although the wheater in Madeira is usually gentle, the bedroom is equipped with air conditioning.

The bathroom has a tub with a shower, hairdryer and amenities.

The living /dining room has a LED TV (with USB port) with cable channels and a DVD player (as well as a selection of films), a cosy sofa and a dining area. You can also dine al fresco enjoying a nice Portuguese wine in the balcony.

The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing and drying machine, microwave/oven, fridge, utensils and cookware.

Complimentary Wi-Fi internet is available throughout the apartment.

Towels and bed linen are provided. The apartment is cleaned for incoming guests.

NB: The apartment is suited for two adults and a child.

“Great Location”

We've just come back from a wonderful week in Funchal, staying in this lovely apartment. It's just 5 minutes to the marina, less to the Main Street and just 50 paces to a large shopping centre with a great supermarket. But it's tucked down a little Road with a few lovely restaurants yet amazingly quiet. The balcony is spacious and a great place to soak up the sun. The lift to this 3rd floor apartment was welcome when lugging cases and it had everything you need, plus it's light and airy. I'd have no hesitation in recommending and I'm sure we'll go back

“Wonderful holiday apartment”

We spent a month on the wonderful island of Madeira staying in this lovely apartment. It is situated centrally in Funchal with all ameneties to hand, it is clean and well kept and has all the essentials you need for your stay. Berta and Pedro are lovely people who will help you with anything if they can. The fridge was filled with milk, cheese, butter etc and even a bottle of wine which was very much appreciated. The apartment has two balconies which we spent many hours on eating breakfast and lunch and just relaxing in the deck chairs. We had a wonderful holiday in this apartment it felt so homely, we definitely will be back.
