GENERAL: This sunny 2 bedroom rooftop modern beach penthouse apartment has a private large (50 square meters) roof terrace with plants and equipped with sun beds. It offers fantastic sea views and is the ideal base whether you are seeking a relaxing beach holiday or a golfing holiday. The Sierra Nevada Ski Resort is less than 2 hours drive away! Why not combine down-hill skiing with beach life? 5 minutes walking distance to the sandy clean beach (70 m as the crow flies), offering a total of 8 km nice beach walk with supermarket, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Hi-speed fibre-WiFi internet is free of charge. We will provide you with a full info booklet that covers all you will need to know when booking.

PERFECT FOR: Couples or families with children above the age of 5 who appreciate a calm, near beach, relaxing holiday although night-life in Fuengirola or Benalmadena is just a healthy walk / bus-ride away! Note that people with severe mobility disorders may find surroundings a bit "hilly".

THE VIEWS AND SUN: Situated only 5 minutes walk from the beach, you will enjoy stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea in the south from both the balcony and the 360 degree top roof terrace.This apartment enjoys sun all day.

FREE A/C and Heating: A modern recently installed effective cooling and heating system is at your disposal! We only require you never to leave it on when not in apartment.

FREE WiFi: With a Fibre-Optic connection, you can keep updated with family and friends and even work if you need: - Why not work on the sunny roof terrace? There is a PC/Mac HDMI-monitor you can connect to your computer if you need to work.....

CLEANING AND LINEN: Your rental of course includes linen and towels as well as final cleaning. Just arrive and leave!

TV: A smart flat Panasonic LED-TV with USB-memory playback and internet access, offers a variety of channels as well as web-TV from your smartphone. Bring the movies you want to watch on an USB-stick or your TV-Stick and plug it in!

THE LOUNGE: Comprises of 1 sofa and 2 comfortable chairs. Patio doors leading to balcony and terrace with panoramic sea views.

DINING AREA: Comprises of dining table with 4 dining chairs. In addition there is also a dining table, chairs and 4 sun beds on the roof terrace, offering you the choice of where to eat dependent on the weather. Or you may want to dine on the balcony?

MAIN BEDROOM: Comprising of 1 double bed, fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets. Ceiling fan as complement to A/C. Window with uninterrupted sea view. Mosquito nets on windows. And a safe for your valuables!

SECOND BEDROOM: Comprising of 2 single beds, fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinet. Ceiling fan as complement to A/C. Mosquito nets on window.

KITCHEN: Modern fitted kitchen with a marble bar desk facing the lounge for you to easily reach refreshments! A good range of cooking tools, crockery and cutlery with induction stove and oven with extractor, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster, microwave, electric lemon squeezer, electric mixer (perfect for soups), iron & ironing board.

BATHROOM: Bath with shower, toilet, bidet & hand basin.

BALCONY: 10 square meters facing the sea and Africa! The view is fantastic! - A true sun catcher - perfectly warm for shorts also in wintertime when sun is gazing!

ROOF TERRACE: There is a large private roof terrace (50 square meters), with 4 sun beds and an amazing view of the Mediterranean sea. An orange tree as well as nice flowers are planted here and fed by an automatic irrigation system.

POOL & GARDENS: There are 2 clean good-size swimming pools with well maintained gardens featuring lawns and flowers. From the upper pool you have a fantastic sea view over the Fuengirola Bay.

TENNIS: There is a paddle tennis court by the side of the lower pool with free access. Rackets available in the apartment. Real tennis available within 500 m.

PARKING: The apartment has its own underground private parking (space #3). The garage door is motorised conveniently. Elevator takes you up to apartment.

CEILING FANS, AIR CONDITION & HEATING: Both bedrooms are provided with ceiling fans as well as A/C. For environmental reasons, we kindly ask you to run A/C only when needed and when in apartment.

GETTING THERE & AROUND: Didn´t rent a car? No worries! There is a train running between Terminal 3 in Malaga Airport to Carvajal/Fuengirola. Trip takes about 20 minutes. Walking from Carvajal Station to apartment with light luggage fully possible and takes 12 minutes. Taxi will bring you to apartment for €5-6. There are also 2 bus stops within a few hundred meters taking you into Los Boliches / Fuengirola or Benalmádena / Torremolinos.

The Carvajal Beach is considered among the best on Costa del Sol - see Trip Advisor. The La Cubana Beach Bar and Gekko´s Beach Shack, 3 minutes away, are very popular among many!

FOOD: There is a filling station and small supermercado within 5 minutes´ walk. At arrival, we suggest that you go from airport directly to Los Boliches train station. There is a great big supermercado right at the station. Buy all food you can possibly carry and then take a taxi back with all your luggage and food to apartment. It will cost about €7-9, but will get you started!

House rules

This is a very relaxing neighbourhood and we kindly ask guests not to play loud music, etcetera, after 10 PM (22:00). Due to allergies, we cannot accept any pets. The air conditioner is very handy to have on warm summer nights...... HOWEVER we kindly ask you not to run it 24/7 as this is very bad for the environment and electricity is dear in Spain. At all times when running, all doors and windows must be kept closed. Thank you!

Great apartment with everything you need. Carvajal is in between Benelmadena and Feungorola. We loved it, there’s enough beach bars and restaurants but Los Boliches it nearby with lots more bars… More

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Erik (the owner) a message.

If Erik (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
