Description

The flat was booked out throughout most of last year and many of guests emailed to say how much they enjoyed staying there. We've made a bit of an effort, as we like to use it ourselves. There's plenty of comfy furniture inside and outside on the big terrace with a sea view and plenty of sun. There's everything you need in the kitchen, and satellite TV, DVD player, CD player and radio in the living room and now with free wifi. The pool is just behind the building and is set in the lush gardens. It's up a short (3 minutes walk), but steep hill. It is in a quiet part of town with a Blue Flag beach only a few minutes walk downhill and plenty of amenities there. Ideal for families or friends looking for a relaxing beach holiday, or for touring Andalucia and there's good walking and horse riding nearby. There's a basement car park with a lift up to the first floor apartment.The blocks are small, with 16 flats in total and 4 on each floor.

The Costa del Sol region

The Costa del Sol is probably well- known to you. There's plenty of sun (about 300 days per year) and it's most famous for its beaches and all that comes with them. The station is only 5 minutes walk away and once on the train, you can be sailing from the marina in Benalmadena in 10 minutes or shopping in Torremelinos in 20. The more historically-minded can soak up the atmosphere of the old town of Malaga, and enjoy the views of the city from the ramparts of its beautifully restored 13th century alcazar. The white village of Ronda is only a bus ride away, as is the sophistication of Marbella and Puerto Banus. There are numerous golf courses in the region. A train from Malaga will take you to the spectacular El Chorro gorge and on to the Mesquita in Cordoba.

Fuengirola

Carvajal is less frenetic than busy Feungirola, and consequently the family-friendly beach is much less crowded. There are good restaurants, and one in particular is worth a visit, Las Marinas, Paco. There are bars and shops a short walk away. All the amenities of Fuengirola are 6 minutes on the train, or a healthy 25 minute stroll along the front. There's the zoo and the castle for the children, and more restaurants, bars, clubs and shops than you could visit in a year. There's 2 excellent golf course less than 5 miles away, in nearby Benalmadena or Mijas Costa, and just up the road is Tivoli World Theme Park, with attractions for all the family. There's also Seaworld and the donkey sanctuary for animal lovers..

“Well equipped, everything to a high standard”

Lovely apartment, everything you could need.we were met at the train station ,we arrived late Sunday evening,and were brought up to the apartment by car, he also dropped us off at the twenty four hour shop at a service station nearby as we wanted to purchase milk, tea, coffee,but we went off for a walk on the seafront first, then returned to purchase our needs...didn't know they couldn't sell us a bottle of wine after ten o'clock and they didn't stock tea. I was delighted when I returned to the apartment to find tea bags already in the kitchen....it's the little things that can made it home from home. Just be aware of the hill, it's not long but steep....

This is a lovely Apartment situated on a Hill overlooking a little Village. The Apartment is clean and very comfy with all the mod cons you would expect and was so cosy that I felt right at home straight away. It has air con, comfy sofas and armchairs and a huge Terrace with Table,chairs and sunbeds where you can sit have your meals or sunbathe. The local Beach is about 10 mins walk and is very quiet with 3 excellent Fish Restaurants. The local Train Station is Carvajal and is only 20 minutes from Malaga Airport.The Train also takes you along the Coast from Malaga to Fuengirola so no need to hire a Car unless you want to be more adventurous. I have stayed here a few times and will always go back as the Apartment is ideally located and not too far from the Nightlife of Torremolinos if you want. The Apartment is also very clean and tiday

This apartment was everything we were looking for. Comfortable, spacious with a fabulous balcony. There were only two of us but even with four there still would have been plenty of room in and out. Locationwise it's close to shops, beach and restaurants and even closer to Carvajal train station with a great train service to Fuengirola, Torremolinos and Malaga. We were warned about the hill to the apartment but in actual fact it's short and not as steep as we expected and in addition means that the balcony has an even better view. I would definitely recommend this apartment. We had a great holiday and are planning to return.

We visited Paul's property at short notice last year and he was very accommodating with our late request. The property is absolutely fantastic with a huge sun drenched balcony for the majority of the day and beautiful sea views. Everything in the appartment was in excellent condition and made for a very comfortable stay. The area is very easily accessed from Malaga airport by the tram and the line also allows for day visits out of Carvajal to other areas. Access to the beach, restaurants and cash machine (and one convenience store) took only 10 minutes. The only thing that I would mention is that the property is up and down a rather steep hill - it is not for the faint hearted but I did manage and walk on a crutch for my poorly knee! Overall we would certainly recommend the property and would definitely return.
