“very good holiday”

First of all I would like to say we had a very good holiday staying at this apartment and were very well looked after by the couple who manage the property. We were greeted off the train from the airport and taken to the apartment. The apartment itself is a good size with a hugh en-suit bathroom off the main bedroom, two good size bedrooms another good size shower room and a good size kitchen and living area. there is a good terrace area which gets the sun all day and is fenced off which was perfect for our three year old to run around on. there is also a swimming pool across the road from the apartment which was very clean and not busy at all at this time of year. The only disapointment regarding the apartment was tha fact that the sofas had seen better days as they were all torn and very uncomfortable and there were only two sun loungers both of which were broken although could still be used. I don't know if this was because this was the end of the season but these need to be replaced. The kitchen was also lacking in some basic stuff like a cheese grater and some dishes that could be used in the oven, more plates (a lot were chiped) and a good non stick frying pan. the appartment is only a ten minute walk to the train station and the trains are excellent and always on time. The appartment is however on a steep hill and it is a hard walk back up to the apartment especially carrying shopping. The beach is close by with a beautiful walk along the prom and plenty of bars and cafes to get a bite to eat. I would recommend this apartment and would stay again if the sofas and kitchen equipment was seen to.

We stayed at Don Juan apartment and had an amazing time. Everyone involved in the letting of the apartment were extremely helpful and accomodating, especially as we have a 2 year old toddler. The apartmant was very spacious, clean and adequately equiped for our stay. It was ideally situated near Carvajal train station which made day trips easy and affordable (as well as the transfers to and from the airport). There is a hill (which we were expecting as it is clearly stated in the advert) leading up to the apartment complex which could pose problems for some people, but I was 6 months pregnant during the stay and coped fine. The area was also very quiet which made for a nice relaxing break.

Lovely, spacious, clean and well-equipped apartment. Fantastic to be so near the train station to quickly and easily get around (can't hear any trains by the way so don't worry about being disturbed by train noises). The trains are regular, cheap, air conditioned, clean and you can be in the heart of all the towns and resorts on the coast between Fuengirola and Malaga in minutes. We had a buggy with us so the hill to the apartment was sometimes tough going in the heat but just walking up without a heavy load to push is easy enough. We were picked up from the train station when we arrived by Elaine and her husband and dropped off at the end of the holiday, they also dropped off enough bottled water for the whole stay to save us having to carry it ourselves (they were very helpful for the whole holiday). I would recommend getting stocked up on other provisions at the nearest big supermarket in Los Boliches and getting a taxi back to the apartment as the local shop is quite expensive (and it will save you lugging bags up the hill). Taxis are not expensive - we even got one all the way back from Aqualand in Torremolinos one day and it was only about 15 Euros. The local beach is lovely and most of the beach-side restaurants are pretty decent too. The best meals can be had in the sidestreets of Fuengirola or, if you like seafood and don't mind spending a bit, try Restaurante Los Marinos Jose - £135 Euros for a meal for 2 but possibly the nicest seafood platter I have ever had! We had a lovely, relaxing holiday here and I would definitely go back.

The apartment has everything you will need for your holiday except for a hairdryer which would have been a useful addition. The welcome pack was very helpful as we arrived late at night. We were met off the train which is close to the apartment by Graham and Elaine who took us there and showed us around, they could not have been more helpful and if there was a problem came and sorted it out straight away. The children really enjoyed the pool but it would of been good to have had a play area for them. The area was very quite with no rowdy behavior the only drawback was the hill back and to the station which was quite a hike. The trains were very clean and ran on time to the nearby towns and Airport . All in all a good time was had by all that is 4 adults and 2 children. Can't wait to go back next year.

“A fanastic Holiday! Beautiful Location and Apartment!”

Where to start? The apartment was fantastic! There were 7 of us in total, 5 adults a 3 year old and a 15 month old, there was plenty of room as the apartment is massive! The kitchen has everything you need for your stay even some goodies left to start you off! The whole apartment was spotless and really tastefully decorated a real home from home, we even had duvets! The high chair and cot were brilliant. The outside was great for our little ones plenty of room to play and they couldn't escape, all fenced in. The pools were also great, clean and plenty of room to sun bathe. The reps Graham and Elaine are lovely, really warm and welcoming. They met us at the train station and showed us to the apartment, even helped with the bags which we really appreciated. There is a step hill but we didn't struggle with a buggie and 3 year old on foot! The train station is 5 mins walk away ( if you walk slowly!) and they run on time every 15 mins. There is a big supermarket two stops away which is really handy! Cavajal is beautiful, quiet and unspoilt. There are plenty of seafront restaurants to choose from! all lovely! and somewhere to get a beer day or night. All in all we had a fantastic holiday, and we will definately be returning.
