Stunning Penthouse apartment with amazing panoramic views. Quality fixtures and fittings and you really could not ask for nicer owners than Michael and Claire. We have been using the apartment for several years now and cannot fault anything. The added bonus of the Jacuzzi on the roof terrace is very welcome after a day of golf. Michael's timekeeping and transfers to and from airports/golf courses is exceptional See you next year

“Lovely spacious apartment with every possible comfort you could wish for.”
Our week was extremely hot, but Michael & Claires penthouse apartment was blissfully cool. It being up high meant we caught a lovely through breeze by having both lots of patio doors open.The air conditioning was fabulous for getting a good sleep at night.The hot tub was extremely popular! Michael & Claire took care of arrival & departure effortlessly. Bunny & Bentley are just adorable little characters.

“Most amazing break”
Myself and four of my friends have just stayed in this apartment for a week. None of us can speak more highly of it. Not only is the apartment lovely, very spacious and in a lovely position but Michael and Claire did everything they could to make our trip as enjoyable as possible, including picking us up from and taking us back to the airport and being on the end of the phone if we had any questions or issues. They honestly make everything so relaxed and take the stress away from going on holiday. The roof terrace and jacuzzi just makes the whole thing and you won't even want to go to the pool, we spent our whole week up there! It's very secure and as 5 young girls we all felt incredibly safe which is important on holiday. Thank you so much Michael and Claire, we will definitely be back soon xx

What a great place to stay with friends or family. We loved the terrace with the jacuzzi, and big table for our dinners. Claire and Michael are full of ideas what to do, where to go and transportation can be provided. Their enthousiasm is wonderful! Carine

“Relaxing home from home”
From start to finish our stay was wonderful. Michael and Bunny collected us from the airport and even waited whilst we did our food shop for our holiday. Clare was waiting to greet us and both gave us a guided tour of the accommodation and a whole host of information about the area and local restaurants etc. The penthouse has all you can need, including a superb terrace and hot tub. There is plenty to do both in the local town, which has a range of eateries and a fabulous beach, and also further afield in both Benalmadina and Fuengerola. Taxi there are around €9-€15 or there are bus services. There is even the use of Bob, the car. Thank you so much Michael and Clare and to anyone out there pondering whether to book Calle Castano .....don't hesitate, you will not be disappointed

“nice apartment ( poor location)”
nice apartment big living room and balcony outside main bedroom very big. then you go upstairs to roof terrace with hot tub very nice views.the main bedroom very good size with bathroom good quality bedding. 2nd bedroom very small 3rd bedroom good size but gym machines spoil bedroom also bedding to 2nd and 3rd bedroom very poor quality.location not good no bars or supermakets near bye.to get to sea front we went out of back entrance its about a 20 min walk down to sea front all down hill very steep in areas.the resturants are another 15 mins walk when you get to sea front to get to resturants and bars in centre of los boliches. walked back twice very difficult walk back got taxis back rest of week.
Owner's reply: Firstly we have had nobody stay at this property with this name for as far as our records go Therefore we had to contact Holidaylettings who verified it was nearly a year ago in 2016 so we will reply as follows Firstly at the time of their booking we supplied a car for free . To get to the Seafront you don't walk down the hill You simply walk down Calle El Roble until you reach the End ( 8 mins ) There is an underpass at end of road which leads to the Seafront There are many many bars along the Seafront and literally hundreds of restaurants At the End of Calle El Roble ( referred to above ) you have a bus stop which has a bus running every 30 minutes to any area of Fuengirolla at a maximum price ( today's price 90p in Uk Money ) Likewise if you dont want to walk back you have two options You could use the car we provided for free Or get the Bus to the end of the road It appears the road the clients took is at the rear of the house and not the one to the Bus stop etc ( Calle El Roble with an underpass that leads to the Seafront is the one to use ) In defence of the clients comments our nearest beach ( 8 minutes away walking ) was being completely renovated with New walk way / Palm trees / New Restaurants etc This walkway together with millions in investment has been completed over 9 months ago ( it could be the clients stayed before this ) To conclude we have had about 30 five star review in the last year ( on this property ) And we honestly cannot find any comments we may or may not have recorded ( in relation to these clients ) as we don't usually keep records past about 11 months ( we of course only keep notes on both positive or negative comments verbally stated ) So we must guess that these clients stayed a long time ago Last but not least the Bedroom the clients refer to as being used with Gym Equipment It's a massive Bedroom --- in its own right its as big as some studios Nonetheless we take aboard the clients feelings that they didn't like the Gym equipment It consists of a cross Trainer and Multi weights machine That are situated ( and moveable ) in one corner of what would be considered a double or larger bedroom . Some clients have moved these on to one of the Balconys ( for the sea - Views ) We have no objection to this and will do same if anyone wants this ( to date we have only had one person who wanted to move the cross trainer in to the Living room to watch Tv at the same time Points to note is there are three Balconys ( one off the rear bedroom ) one off the main bedroom --- And then you have an upstairs with 120 square metres as a Solarium with six person Jacuzzi / Sun loungers etc We conclude by saying all comments good or bad help us in our endeavour to retain one of the Highest rankings on The coast And to this end we appreciate comments that can help us
Stayed here multiple times superb location very high spec facilities and modern decor throughout. Highly recommend will be back again in 2017.
“Absolutey perfect AGAIN!! Fantsastic 17 night stay”
Sorry Claire and Michael for the late review!! But thank you for a brilliant holiday. We spend 17 nights at this lovely villa and everything is provided plus more for a perfect holiday. Claire and Michael are so helpful and will do everything within their reach for you. As with us, our son wanted to watch Malaga play football at their stadium, but we were stuck getting home from Malaga at 1100 at night. They very kindly picked us up on the return as there was no transport which was a massive relieve and made the day more special. I could write many fantastic things, like yummy hot tub, great kids pool, roof top BBQ but it really was a super holiday, our second visit and will RETURN!! xxx
“Always Perfect cant wait to return”
This was our second stay at the penthouse and thought it could not be a good as the first visit, however once again it was perfect and Michael & Clare could not have been more helpful. It seems they just want to try and improve your stay each time you go, this time an additional air con unit had be added, a new upgraded built in BBQ and a new TV channel which has all the UK sport, soaps and a movie channel which was great for the kids in the evenings. As always the Penthouse was lovely and clean and the fridge had all the essentials. This is simply a lovely penthouse in a lovely location run by a lovely couple.
“Penthouse very nice”
Michael and Claire were very welcoming and looked after us very well going the extra mile to make sure we had a good stay. Loved the hot tub and roof terrace but could have done with better weather to use it more. Accommodation was very comfortable with everything you needed the description on holidays letting was spot on. Too much really for a weekend but going back in July so will be able to spend more time in the accommodation.
