Overlooking the fair ground where they hold the famous Tuesday market and Saturday car boot sale. Ideal for those wishing to have a wild time during the feria week from 6th-12th Oct with all the action on your doorstep, avoid these dates if you are seeking the quite life. Only a short walk to the sea front and lovely sandy beaches. 8 mins from discos, 10 minutes from the town centre. Great selection of shops and restaurants adjacent to the building.

Large community swimming pool is open from 15th June-15th Sept. Cealing fans and airconditioning in the lounge and bedrooms and great sea breeze makes it perfect even during the hot summer months .

The apartment has great views and two balconnies, where you can have breakfast or take the sun. Room for two sunbeds, or tables and chairs. Large lounge/Diner with four windows and the door to balcony, with sofa ,easy chairs, dining table and chairs , coffee table and storage cupboards, cable TV giving lots of English channels.

Well fitted kitchen with fridge freezer, gas hob, electric oven, Microwave, toaster, kettle. Independent utility room with washing machine and sink, washing line on balcony.

Two lovely bathrooms, one en suite, both with shower in full size bath, electrical point for hair dryer, shaver.

There are two lifts taking up to 4 people.The apartment is fresh and modern, with comfort in mind. Complete for any holiday family or group of friends. The sofa bed in the lounge converts without removal of the sofa cushions so one swift movement makes it into a very comfortable bed of normal bed height. There are shutters on all of the windows to cut out light, except the french windows onto the balcony in the lounge and utility room.

the main balcony is on the corner giving a very wide wrap around view from sea to mountains to town. Shops are just around the corner, bakery, chemist, supermarkets, green grocers, butchers, etc, plus Opencore 24 hours, 7 days a week also dry ceaners , restaurants and bars of all types.

from the train station it is a brisk 10 minute walk or a very short taxi ride. Just round the corner is a childs play area, with sea saws slides etc.There is a gymnasium on the next corner for the adults

The beaches are sandy and safe and protected by life guards. They are a well maintained, cleaned every night . There are many blue flag beaches.

For golfers, there are several courses within easy reach, one only 30mins by foot. For tennis players there are tennis courts within a half hour walk. There are numerous gymnasiums, and for riders there are several nearby stables where you may hire horses or have lessons. For the children and water lovers there is the huge Aquapark just 30mins walk. The port of Fuengirola offers many excursions and dolphin spotting trips, and water hang gliding etc.

Fuengirola is a great tourist centre, both for foreign and Spanish, with so many different types of restaurants and bars of all nationalities and themes. Most shop keepers will speak English and there is the very efficient tourist information office, where you can find details of shows and adventures going on. Not far away there is the famous show place of the Andalucian dancing horses a must for those who are keen on horses, also near by is the race course, in the summer, night racing is a great evening out.

The high street and town streets are full of well know shop chains like Zara and Bershka, Pull &Bear, plus El Corte Ingles.

Smokers are welcome, but are asked to refrain from smoking in the bedrooms and bathrooms, and preferably only on the balconies.

Children are most welcome. House trained animals also.

The Andalucia region

The Costa del Sol has remained as one of the highly preferred holiday destinations for decades. Within just a couple of ours journey you can choose between spending the day skiing in Sierra Nevada or on one of the sunny beaches or excellent golf courses.

The hot months between June and September are ideal for spending time relaxing on the beach and enjoying water-sports and the buzzing night life. The Spring and Autumn are perfect for exploring the area visiting the white villages and playing golf on one of the many courses. Within 10mins drive is the largest golf resort in Spain.

The colder months are still much milder than other countries and many couples choose to spend the winter in the area.


Fuengirola has a castle open to the public, where they often hold medieval festivals with shops and shows, also some concerts are held there.There is a small and very lovely zoo, where the animals are in enclosures not cages. There is a bullring where during feria they will hold horse shows as well as the running of the bulls and bull fights. There are many parks with swings , slides and seasaws etc for smaller children to play on. There is a water park with exciting rides. Near by are many golf courses. For the horse lovers there are stables where horses can be hired. There are also tennis courts, and many well equipped gymnasiums. The port offers sea excursions and sky high rides.

The feria is from 6th-12th October, with the romeria the week end before. The Night of San Juan 21st June is bonfire night on the beaches. Dia del Carmen when they take the throne of the virgin into the sea to bless the fishermen is a very special fiesta, all on the beach walk into the sea when the throne enters the water. This takes place about 11pm on the 16th of July.

"Avoid winter months"

Facilities excellent - but uncomfortably cold in winter, heating inadequate. Two balconies, neither faces the sun, so unusable in winter. Cable TV but limited English choice of channels(i.e. not one BBC or ITV channel! Quite a good distance to main road for shops/bus. Would not recommend a winter stay at any price. Other months may be OK for younger folk who could get to the beach by a 10 minutes walk.
