Description from manager
Lovely cortijo (farmhouse) with private pool in Frigiliana.A quiet location with a good restaurant at walking distance. You couldn't ask for a better location for a relaxing holiday than this detached cortijo. The farmhouse stands back from a quiet surfaced road which leads through the hills between Frigiliana and Torrox - hence its ideal situation. The house is comfortable and decorated in a traditional Andalucian style.LOCATION AND OUTSIDE AREAWith tree-covered hills all around and a stunning view of the sea for good measure, this villa offers a lovely setting for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. The town of Frigiliana (2.7 km) with numerous restaurants, bars and craft shops is easily accessed, yet the joy of living in a tranquil location with your own pool and a good restaurant (La Venta de Frigiliana) within easy walking distance is not sacrificed. The fascinating Cuevas de Nerja, just east of the town, are well worth a visit.A large covered terrace spans the length of the house

Location description from manager
The Andalucia region
Coming to Malaga Province and Costa del Sol is seeing beautiful landscapes, tasting delicious food, and experiencing the warmth of people. It's also discovering a rich cultural heritage, fabulous beaches and coastal sites, and charming hinterland villages. There's a place for every traveller in Malaga. Find yours!
Ancient and cosmopolitan Malaga in the past still retains its historic roots intact. In long-gone times it bore witness to the origins of man and of the Mediterranean culture, and is today the primary force in the Andalusian tourist industry, keeping alive its tradition of a welcoming and creative land.
Maritime Malaga on the coast where winter never comes; and with a mountain vocation inland, where nature is displayed in all its splendour. White villages with their attractive architecture, wrapped in romantic legend, bring points of light into secluded valleys where life goes by peacefully. And from the peaks of the mountains you can watch the horizon until it becomes lost in the immense blue of the sea.
On the Costa del Sol there are lots of discos, night clubs, and casinos set up for evening entertainment, whereas golf courses mushroomed like in no other place in Europe. Complementary products emerged too –water parks, theme parks, fun resorts– and new segments began to develop: meetings, incentives, conferences and events, cultural tourism, and hinterland travel, first in Serranía de Ronda and Axarquía, then in Antequera and Valle del Guadalhorce.
The growth of the eastern part of the Costa del Sol –most of it included in Axarquía, a region with a clear al-Andalus legacy– was less spectacular but no less important.
Better connected after the development of the Mediterranean highway, the Eastern Costa del Sol is one of the most interesting places to visit in Malaga Province.
As is the case with many other villages, Frigiliana dates back to Roman times but owes its urban design to the Moslem occupation.
Perched like a balcony on the slopes of the Sierra Almijara, it offers one of the prettiest and most spectacular views of the Costa del Sol.
Apart from its beauty, the village boasts places of great interest, such as Las Hoces del Higueron, and buildings such as the sugar mill, formerly the Count of Frigiliana"s Palace, where the famous sugar cane honey is made.
