Surrounded by idyllic natural scenery, this 3-bed, 2-bath vacation rental on 3 acres of private land provides exactly what you need to relax and explore with 10 people!

Before entering 'Gallaway Cabin,' pause for a moment on one of 2 spacious covered porches to breathe in the purest scents of nature and admire the true beauty of the property's secluded backyard space. The home is perched slightly on a hill, offering stunning views of towering trees, surrounding plants, and sometimes even wildlife!

The cabin's main floor is furnished with rustic decor reminiscent of the mountain life of which you're immersed in. In the roomy, fully equipped kitchen, scramble some eggs to kick-start your morning or fire up the gas grill to cook your fly-fishing catch-of-the-day.

On warm days, the cabin is conveniently situated a few minutes walk from the river and about 7 miles from Little Tennessee River Greenway, offering abundant hiking routes and riverside paths to explore. The rolling hills and mountain silhouettes will take your breath away if the meandering trails don't first! Spend your afternoons biking, swimming, fishing, kayaking, or simply throwing a ball around in the yard with your dog or kids.

Lounge in the living room or on the deck after an outside adventure, where you'll appreciate how the rustic-yet-modern cabin radiates coziness. Known locally as the 'Gem Capital of the World' for its abundance of gems and minerals, Franklin is an Appalachian Trail-friendly destination nestled within the Nantahala National Forest. Gem mining is a very popular activity if you're with children!

Head into town to check out a bluegrass band at the Smoky Mountain Fine Arts Center, browse the antique shops, or grab a bite to eat in downtown Franklin. If you're running low on those beers or s'mores ingredients, never fear - a Walmart Supercenter is just a 20-minute drive from the cabin.

A 30-minute drive north will bring you to the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad in Bryson City, a scenic tourist activity. Immerse yourself in North Carolina history and culture at the Cherokee Indian Reservation or Harrah's Cherokee Casino, about 30 miles away. About 40 miles south of the property is the stunning Tallulah Gorge State Park in Tallulah Falls, GA, where the movie Deliverance was filmed!

For winter travelers, drive 45 minutes to Scaly Mountain for some exhilarating snow tubing, while Ski Sapphire Valley Resort is about an hour away for alternative slope sports.
