Our guests choose us for being one of the most beautiful mountain cabins in the area and also because of our quiet and peaceful location. Clean, well maintained. We pay attention to the little things to make your stay both comfortable and memorable. Tranquil Mountain Views from almost every room, close to terrific Western NC activities but yet a retreat from noisy nearby cabins and tourism. Just minutes from downtown Franklin NC (no scary remote location), restaurants, grocery and activities. Safe, Gated Community.

A screened porch with outdoor fireplace and also an indoor fireplace - we provide firewood wood; comfy beds and great linens; faux fur throws for snuggling by the fire; rustic elegant furnishings & decor; fully equipped chef's dream kitchen. Attention to detail that makes our guests not want to leave and return time and time again. We know you will love our luxury cabin NC we call the Pond House.

2 King Bedroom Suites (Master on Main), +1 Queen Bedroom. En suite bathrooms, one features jacuzzi tub. Max. Occupancy 6 total.

Experience all Western North Carolina has to offer - great hiking, swimming holes, hike or drive to waterfalls, fishing, rafting/slow river floats, kayaking, gem mining, golf, restaurants & shopping, scenic drives, a photographers dream. So much to do and we'll help with great ideas and our favorite spots.

Max. Occupancy 6 (not suitable for children under age 5). Please Note: We don't allow group parties, reunions, weddings, etc. Our home is not suitable for children under the age of 5 due to open staircase & loft, no child proof features, discuss ages of children with owner prior to requesting reservation.

A vehicle is needed. Downtown Franklin is about 7 min. from the house. Nearby towns include Highlands, Cashiers, Dillsboro, Sylva all about 30 min. from the house. Cherokee NC and the Smoky Mountain National Park are about 1 hour from the house. Easy location, paved roads to paved driveway. Secure gated community.

We'll provide the address and driving directions once you book. We meet you at the property upon arrival to show you operational things about the house. Then, you'll be on your own. We provide a list of our favorite activities and can help you plan accordingly.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
