This is a beautiful two bedroom/two bath home (sleeps 6 with sleeper sofa - replaced each bedroom with brand new Serta sleeper mattress sets) near Franklin N.C. The cabin offers absolutely awesome panoramic views overlooking the Iotla Valley and the distant Blue Ridge Mountains. The cabin has a covered deck with rockers, porch swing, and ceiling fans so you can totally relax while enjoying the view.

We offer all the amenities one could want including a fully furnished kitchen, living room with fireplace,tv/vcr/dvd, satellite dish, an outdoor gas grill and ceiling fans throughout the cabin. The cabin is air conditioned through the summer months. It is close to all the activities that will make your vacation a very memorable one.

We are just ten minutes from downtown Franklin which offers many interesting shops and museums, including the Ruby City Gem museum and the only Scottish museum in the U.S. There are many wonderful events in Franklin, including a free concert for all the family called "Pickin' on the Square" from May to October. There is a family arcade called "The Factory",the "Whistle Stop Antique Mall", and movie theaters.

The surrounding area offers many outdoor recreational opportunities including hiking in the National Forests, tubing on the Little Tennessee River, gem mining (at least five gem mines within fifteen minutes from your vacation spot.) White water rafting, canoeing, and kayaking are popular on several nearby rivers. The Nantahala River offers great fly fishing only forty minutes away.

Located near Highlands with many scenic waterfalls and Dillsboro with great shopping and train rides through the mountains on the original railroad line. The Biltmore Estate in Asheville is within easy driving distance, as is the Harrah's Casino in Cherokee.

With easy access to our cabin, an awesome long range view and all the amenities you are looking for - We offer the perfect getaway vacation spot at a very reasonable cost..

The cabin overall was okay, cozy, great views from the front porch. Dirty cooking ware, very dirty oven took away from completely enjoying our stay.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send MICHAEL (the owner) a message.

If MICHAEL (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
