“Characterful Cottage in a Friendly Town”

Reviewed 9 Nov 2016

We spent 5 nights at the end of our first visit to Ireland in this cosy cottage. Very quirky and cleverly designed with everything we needed provided. Or hostess Myra called in to welcome us and check we were settled and see if there was anything else we needed. Although we had traditional Irish weather - buckets of it every day - this was a happy and relaxing holiday, with plenty to see and do in Foxford and nearby. The larger towns of Ballina and Westport are easy to reach on good roads, and all in between them is fantastic coastline, and countryside so green it hurts the eyes. But the main highlight was the warmth and friendliness of everyone we met in Foxford - and throughout Co Mayo come to that!

“Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo”

Reviewed 21 Aug 2016
