From the owner

Lantic was recently completely renovated including a loft conversion that offers a bedroom with fabulous views over the harbour.

There is a new bay window on the 1st floor, new central heating, a new larger kitchen and a newly fitted bathroom. We have then used the blank canvas this gave us to furnish the house, with the emphasis being on quality and comfort to make your stay as relaxing as possible while you enjoy all that Fowey has to offer.

The changeover day at Lantic is a Saturday, prices include all bedlinen and heating when required.

During Jan/Feb/Oc/tNov we may be able to offer short breaks for 70% of the full weekly charge (excludes half term weeks) Please contact us for details.

Well behaved dogs welcomed by prior agreement but we would ask that they are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture.

Bookings are accepted with a deposit of 30%, balance payable in full 8 weeks prior to arrival.

Set over 3 floors Lantic offers comfortable family accommodation in 2 double and 1 twin bedrooms. A large open plan living space on the ground floor provides ample space for the whole family to dine together, play together and hopefully relax! We have tried to cater for everything you may need during your holiday.

Loft Master Bedroom

The newly converted loft is now our favourite bedroom of the house, the best feature of which is the fantastic view offered of the Fowey Estuary (left). Furnished with a luxurious king size, reclaimed teak bed and a wall mounted digital TV this room offers a lovely place to retreat to after a day out on the water. The top floor also has its own washroom with W.C. and basin.


A newly fitted family bathroom with full size bath and shower over, a heated towel rail and tiled throughout with Fired Earth tiles.

Front bedroom

With a new bay window giving lovely views over the town and Estuary, this double room is comfortably appointed with King size sleigh bed and flat screen television.

Back Bedroom

A large bedroom with twin beds that can be linked together if required. There is also room for a travel cot in this room if needed.

Living &Dining Area

A great open plan space for all the family. The dining area has solid oak dining table to seat up to 8. The living area is furnished with comfortable sofas and equipped with a flat screen digital TV and DVD player as well as a selection of books and games.


A new, fully equipped kitchen with oak work surfaces, gas hob, electric fan oven, washer/dryer, full sized dishwasher, fridge freezer and microwave.

Whether to cook a roast or reheat a pasty - everything you need!

To the front of the house is an area where you can sit and watch the various comings and goings into town.

At the back of the house is a courtyard with a barbecue and outside seating for those warm summer evenings that has been newly paved.

Why can't I call Oliver (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Oliver (the owner) a message.

If Oliver (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
