Cottage Chevannes is located next to the manor house of Château Latour in a peaceful village in the Burgundy region. The cottage (gîte) has a living with a separate well equipped kitchen. The lodging has all modern comfort including wifi. The homely atmosphere makes your stay in the cottage very pleasant.

The cottage has a spacious living, separate kitchen, two bedrooms, a modern bathroom, ample parking and a large southern oriented sunny terrace.

The modern kitchen has a wide access to the living, a fridge with a small freezer, dishwasher, electric stove, coffeemaker, kettle, gashob and kitchen utensils.

The living has a dining area and a lounge area. The living is inbetween the bedrooms and the kitchen and has wide access to the terrace.

The spacious shower is equipped with a rainshower, basin and toilet. The shower has a seat for convenience.

Bedroom one, has a kingsize bed which can also be made up as two seperate beds and has a wardrobe. On request a separate single bed or childrens cot can be put in the room. The bedroom has wide access to the terrace.

Bedroom two has two single beds and a wardrobe.

The nice terrace is at the sunny side. Garden furniture is waiting for you. It is a nice area to sit, relax and enjoy.

The gîte is very suitable for families with small or older children in a child friendly environment with a fenced pool, enclosed garden, toys and a trampoline. On request a cot, children's cutlery and a high chair is available.

The cottage is also suitable for disabled people. The cottage has easy access with wide doors openings, is barrier free, has extra handles in the bathroom and a tip-up shower chair.

Gîte Chevannes is located on the edge of the village of Fours, a typical French village with pretty views over the fields and the courtyard. A small supermarket and ‘boulangerie’ are at walking distance (300m). A pharmacy, postoffice, bank and garage are nearby in the village. In the nearby villages of Decize, Luzy or Cercy-la-Tour several larger supermarkets can be found.

The immediate vicinity welcomes peace seekers, outdoor lovers and those who like to explore local wines and food.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
