“Perfect for a family get together”

Reviewed 5 Jun 2019

Worth coming here just for the view. Plenty of space to spread out and awesome location. We'll be back for sure

“Doing the Ben in good Scotish weather”

Reviewed 21 Jun 2017

If you are looking to walk up the Ben. Then this is a good base. Right in town for all the amenities. Grog and Gruel does a decent pint and the Spice Tandoori fed us very well after we'd climbed up the Ben. The apartment is spacious, we are 6 big blokes and it was just the right size. The kitchen was well equipped for Ryan and Adam to make a full Scottish breakfast. Large.

“Great location, great views and a lovely house”

Reviewed 20 Oct 2013

We stayed in the Old Harbour Master's in mid August, a busy time in Fort William, and yet although the house is very close to the town it was always nice and quiet once round the corner in the property's area. The house itself is big, the rooms large and well equipped, and everything very comfortable. We mostly ate in the kitchen, but there is a good dining room if you want to get a larger group around a table. The kitchen itself was well equipped. The (wet room) main bathroom was good, as was the upstairs (traditional) bathroom. The star show of the house is the large lounge on the top floor which has stunning views over Fort William, the loch and surrounding area. Unfortunately the weather in the evenings was generally not good enough to sit out on the balcony, but just admiring the views from the lounge was fantastic. The only thing that may put some off is the property starts on the first floor, so there are quite a few steps to carry luggage up, but it was never a problem for us.

“Great location, great accommodation, great view.”

The booking and stay at Old Harbour Master's House was excellent. NIck was extremely helpful in assisting us get accommodation for 2 extra days in Fort William. Will certainly recommend Old Harbour Master's tio friends visiting Fort William.
