- Very Good
“Wonderful, didn't want to leave, stayed an extra night”
Wonderful stay in Heather Lodge. Claire and Ian were very welcoming and friendly with lots of local knowledge. The lodge is just as described on the website, had everything we needed along with amazing views over loch lochey to the mountains beyond. On arrival the place was spotlessly clean and nice and warm as the heating had been fired up for our arrival. Heather Lodge is the last in the row of lodges so very private. Access wise it is rural and we were a tad worried we had taken the wrong turn but we kept following the instructions on the website and got there no problem (the road goes from two-way traffic, to single track, to track). Also very dog friendly, we will be visiting again in the future.
“Nothing less than the absolute perfection”
Well, we were to arrive quite late in the dark and it was a bit of shambles to find the right way but once you get there you find that it was all worth it. It was dark therefore we could not really recognise the heavenly scenery opened in front of us. The cottage was a nice a cute, perfect for the nature of the stay we were searching for. Very warm with a view at the loch. All utilities provided and all essentials as well. Everything was perfect. In the next morning we opened the curtains and we realised how great the location is. During our stay for the next two days, we enjoyed a lot of the surroundings and even went to see the Loch Ness. In a few words everything was perfect and the owners were very nice and warm people. I would recommend it to anyone who asks me.
Dear Guests, Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the opportunity to write this positive review. We strive to ensure that our guests enjoy their stay with us, it is always rewarding to have confirmation of this. Many, Many Thanks Ian & Caire
