Description

Muirhead Steading is a stone built family home set in a large garden with stunning views to the south over farmland and rolling hills. Converted in 2001, this large barn conversion can accommodate up to 10 people and is in easy reach of both beaches and mountains. Only a few miles from the picturesque fishing village of Findhorn, the house is an ideal base for exploring the castles and whisky trails of Moray.

The garden is secure for both dogs and children and has a large play fort to inspire your children's imaginations. The local area has a wealth of fun activities for adults and children alike, from white water rafting, to salmon fishing, to hill walking, stalking, horse riding, beautiful beaches, dolphin watching, forests and legends to explore.

For those who want a less full on experience, Muirhead is the perfect place to relax in the garden or curled up in front of the log burner. Enjoy meals in the large, well equipped kitchen or eat out at one of the many local pubs

“Lovely property in a beautiful setting”

Reviewed 6 Feb 2016

Myself and a few friends spent a long weekend at Muirhead Steading and had a great time. The property is large and spacious but cosy at the same time thanks to the nice log fire. The house is great for a group of friends or a family and is ideally located for nearby beaches and walks. I would thoroughly recommend it if you want to get away from it all for a few days.

Nick and friends, Thank you for the posistive review, you were great guests and we hope you get chance to come back in the future.
