"Beautifully presented and perfectly equipped accomodation"
We cannot recommend this accommodation enough. It is very well positioned in the New Forest and easily accessible to all of the sites but equally very much away from any form of 'busy' activity. We took our two year old daughter and initially were concerned about whether she would settle. The rooms are so cosy that our daughter eagerly climbed into bed without any hesitation. The cottage is equipped with travel cot, high chair, stair gates etc so totally safe for our little one. There is plentiful parking, magnificent views from the cottage and a readily contactable owner who is responsive and on site. We look forward to returning to the cottage and would not hesitate to recommend it. We enjoyed walks around Fordingbridge but also recommend getting lost in 'Nomansland' and finding your way to the 'The Lamb Inn' which has a great atmosphere and brilliant food!
Hi Hayley, Thank you very much for your amazingly positive review it is so lovely to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us and enjoyed exploring the surrounding areas. We look forward to seeing you again in the future!

"Shepherds Spring Cottage 1 was one of the best holiday rentals we have made"
We were a group of three adults with 2 dogs who wanted a break away from London. From the initial booking, way back before Christmas, communication was good. Any queries answered promptly. We were contacted to say we could gain access to the property an hour before originally stipulated, the property was exactly as described. Until arrival we hadn't realised that the double bedroom was on the ground floor, next to the bathroom. Suited us fine, but struck us this would be ideal for someone who was elderly or had some mobility issues. The property had everything you could think of by way of equipment. It was clean everywhere. The linen was clean, so to the mattress and pillow protectors (we took our own towels). Constant hot water and never cold there at all. Easy walking distance, flat, into Fordingbridge. Remember you'll need a torch for any late evening/night time walking. All local people we met were very friendly and helpful. The dogs had a paddocked area to use first thing in the morning. Dog waste bin provided. Simply loved Fordingbridge and all of The New Forrest. Would recommend this property and would definitely stay here again ourselves
