The Tuscany region

Perfectly located to walk to the centre of Florence. There is a bus stop located within a few meters of the apartment, regular busses to the train station. The apartment was in immaculate condition. It was a very quiet apartment even though it was on the ground floor. It is in an old renovated building in traditional Florentine style, beautifully decorated and spacious. I particularly appreciated that it was on the ground floor. Antonella was a very generous host, there were welcome 'goodies' waiting for me on arrival. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Florence. It is best suited to a single traveller or a couple. I will certainly be staying there when I return to Florence. I had a wonderful stay!

"Nice "home away from home""
This apartment is lovely!! Well-furnished, charming and clean. Three of us were very comfortable and the kitchen was good--I loved the stone sink! We had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. There was plenty of room, the kitchen was well-stocked, there was a washer, free wifi was provided and the bed was very comfortable. The furnishings and linens were very nice. When a second set of keys was requested, it was promptly delivered. The location was good--an easy walk by the Boboli Gardens and Pitti Palace to the Ponte Vecchio. There are markets close by on the street. The only downside for me was street traffic; I am a light sleeper and am not accustomed to traffic. The one-way street has a moderate amount of traffic most of the time.

"Brilliant location, safe, ideal for solo traveller"
The apartment is in an ideal location. Buses including the tour bus comes down Via Romana but you can walk into the city within 15 minutes. The apartment has excellent facilities and everything required for an enjoyable stay. This was my first visit to Florence as a solo traveller and I felt completely safe. The host, Antonella, is extremely helpful and she did not mind me emailing for advice if required. A few tips for English visitors: It is cheaper to purchase your bus ticket from any bar/tobacconist for Euro 1.20 prior to jumping on the bus which comes every few minutes at the end of the street. As Antonella explains the street is one way so when you return the bus comes up a street running parallel to Romana. You need to dispose of rubbish in the big bins along the street , which is easy. All in all I had a fantastic holiday mainly due to the amenities and location of this apartment. I was totally relaxed and not only did I feel at home, but I felt like a local. I would highly recommend this apartment to either a family or somebody like myself, choosing to holiday alone. It is tranquil, elegant and beautifully decorated.

"Never had such a spacious, appealing and well furnished holiday apartment"
This city apartment in the Southern part of the town not far from the city centre might at first sight look a bit unappealing, being located on the ground floor and having "only" a terrace with a limited view. But this is completely made up by the pleasent atmosphere of the apartment due in part because of it being located in an old building with various structures (e.g. an extremely beautiful ceiling) still in an original appearance. Also the apartment's spatious layout and the fact that it is so well furbished are a plus. In any case, a perfect and comfortable place to relax after ´(sometimes) exhausting strawls through the city.

"The place to stay in Florence, near almost everything and excellent host."
Easy to find from airport. Host waiting for me even when my suitcase did not arrive on time. Super clean, excellent bed, wonderful and well equipped kitchen, washing machine. Cable ready TV. Groceries and butchers walking distance. Felt like been home.
