“Excellent place to stay!"”

Reviewed 8 Jan 2016

I stayed for almost 2 weeks at the end of November. The apartment is well appointed and comfortable. There was a grocery store just down the street and I enjoyed cooking in the complete kitchen. Location of the apartment was great. It was a pretty easy walk to get to the museums, churches and train station. Best part of the apartment was the wonderful hospitality of Francesco, the owner. He met me at the apartment, got me situated and was nice enough to arrange for a taxi for my early morning departure to the airport. I would love to return to Florence and if I do, I would stay here again.

“ECCELLENTE OSPITALITA'”

abbiamo soggiornato in questo appartamento dotato veramente di tutto cio' che occorre per una vacanza perfetta e ottimo per una famiglia anche per la gradevolissima ospitalità del proprietario Francesco.

“Beautiful Apartment in a fantastic area!”

Reviewed 17 Oct 2013

The apartment is fantastic, and Francesco is more than helpful! My wife and I stayed in Francesco's apartment for 2 wonderful nights! Our arrival to the apartment from Venice was delayed by a few hours due to traveling issues that were out of our hands. Unable to contact Francesco to make him aware that we would be arriving later than what we agreed upon we were nervous that we may have missed him. Thank the Lord that was not the case! Francesco showed great patience and hospitality by waiting for us to arrive with a smile on his face and a helping hand to lend! The apartment was exactly as we hoped and the location was better than expected. Francesco was helpful in recommending locations to eat around the apartment and one of our favorite places throughout our trip to Paris, Venice, Florence and Rome is legitimately steps around the corner from his place. Bakery's are local and it is a beautiful walk to the middle of one of the most intriguing and wonderful cities my wife and I have ever laid our eyes upon. With the unique and cultural decoration of the apartment as a bonus, the smell in the air that fills the room when you open the bifold windows is enough to bring my wife and I back to Francescos apartment! Stay here and enjoy the culture of Fierenze!

“Great apartment from which to explore Florence!”

Reviewed 25 Aug 2013

My mother and I stayed at this apartment for 1 week in July. We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very well located within walking distance of the tourist sights of Florence and to the train station. Yet it was nice to be in a residential area and feel more like a local! There were nice restaurants nearby and a good supermarket too. The apartment itself was very comfortable and well equipped. Francesco was very helpful and friendly. I would be happy to recommend this apartment!

“So glad we stayed here!”

Reviewed 2 Jun 2013

I was so happy to have been able to book this home. It turned out to be the best place we stayed in Italy! Close to everything and yet just far enough from the hustle and bustle of the major tourist areas. We loved the feeling of being in a real neighborhood, in a real apartment (which was so lovely!) There were awesome restaurants close by that were more geared towards locals rather than tourists, as well as supermarkets, delis, grocers. I was traveling with my 82 year old (non-traveler) mom and she also LOVED the place. "I felt like I was in an Italian movie," she said. The owner, Francesco, was wonderful, always responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The little touches like providing coffee, etc. were so nice. Thank you so much, Francesco! Highly, highly recommended, especially for those who don't want to feel like such a tourist.
