Description

A two bedroomed semi-detached bungalow with its own small garden on the Flamingo Hills II complex, on the established Playa Flamenca urbanisation, on the Costa Blanca - with shared outdoor swimming pool open from 8am to 10pm. The whole coastline has beautiful “blue flag” standard sandy beaches. It is a quiet residential area, with a noise curfew from midnight to 7am. There are shops, restaurants and bars within easy walking distance but a hire car is recommended to make the most of your stay.Local charge of E60 includes pre-clean, bed linen and hand towels, but we recommend you take bath/beach towels. This fee shows up as 'free' on your booking quote, but this is a fault with the website!Earliest arrival time usually 2pm, with departure by 11am on last day.The villa itself sleeps 4 to 6 comfortably and consists of:American style kitchen (incl. oven and ceramic hob, Combi microwave/grill, 'fridge/freezer, toaster kettle & dishwasher ) connected to:Large lounge/diner with Air conditioning

NOW WITH SATELLITE TV IN BEDROOM. Twin bedroom with fitted wardrobe and bedside lamp, and ceiling fan. Bathroom with bath and powerful shower. Andalucian style tiled courtyard for al-fresco dining. Large roof sun terrace with BBQ , beach equipment and games for your use kept in the turret room. Small garden. Car parking opposite the villa. The shared pool (approx. 20 metres long) is only about 15 metres from the front door. The pool is open 1st April to 31st October for swimming from 8am to 10pm and is generally quiet and un-crowded.

The Valencian Country region

Within 10km there are 3 different 18 hole golf courses, the nearest being at the Villa Martin complex.The nearest beaches, Playa Flamenca North & South are approx. 3km by road. These are both sheltered sandy bays with rock-pools for exploring when calm or waves for body-boarding. These beaches have a bar, toilets and a volleyball net throughout the summer. There are umbrellas and sunloungers for hire. There are pathways between many of the local beaches (5 or 6 of them!) and there are all sorts of beaches to try –from Guardamar's national park designated coastline with pine trees and sand-dunes to the north of the villa down to the Mar Menor. In the summer, most of the beaches have lifeguards and first-aid. There are various shops and 4 supermarkets within walking distance of the villa so there's plenty of choice whether you want to eat in or out. On Saturday mornings there is a street market nearby with fantastic quality fruit & veg as well as clothing, souvenirs etc. For eating out, the nearest bars and various restaurants are only about 300m away, and within 1.5km the Playa Flamenca restaurant/bar complex caters for a variety of cuisine. On the main road are Indian, Chinese, Italian and lots of Spanish restaurants. There's even a chip shop at La Zenia ! Interesting places to visit include Torrevieja (5km north) with a pleasant waterfront promenade, an evening market and fun-fair except in winter. It also has a waterpark. La Mata (6km north) – one of Torrevieja's salt lakes is a national park and bird sanctuary with observation hides and platform and a natural history exhibition. Elche “city of palms” with botanical gardens, Roman ruins and museum. Cartagena with many Roman remains (named after Carthage), with a lovely port area where cruise ships dock to see the sights. Orihuela, the provincial capital with many 14th & 15th century churches. Murcia, the regional capital with its magnificent cathedral. La Fortuna natural hot springs channelled into a spa bathing facility. Alicante with its 2 castles, marina and art gallery. Benidorm (2hours drive north) and nearby Terra Mitica, - a theme park with rides and live shows & entertainers and Terra Natura, a wildlife park Guadalest – a fortified town in the mountains east of Benidorm with fantastic views. Cuevas de Canalobre – caves with many stalactites & stalagmites and a constant 18 degrees centigrade in the mountains east of Alicante.

Flamenca, Playa

Torrevieja has regular souvenir markets, firework displays in the Summer, and a watermark. Funfair near the harbour. Ice cream parlours on the pedestrianised main promenade. Boat trips and sea fishing trips are available from the harbour. The Salt museum is a must!

There is now a vibrant Mall facility nearby, La Zenia, with shops, restaurants and play areas for the children.
