Stayed here for our annual family weekend get-together (6 adults & 2 children) and found the property spacious, clean, warm and extremely well equipped. The Bay is a great base to explore from or just chill out.
Many thanks for your review - we're really glad you enjoyed your stay. Nick and Alison

Greenwich Cottage is situated at the Bay village 3 miles from Filey. Filey is a quaint British Seaside resort that is well kept and pleasant to stroll in on awarm sunny day. The Bay village is ideally placed away from the hubub but just a short drive or bus ride to Filey or Scarborough. Also well placed for exploring East Riding and North Yorkshire coast. The facilities at the Bay are excellent. It is a self contained village with Pub, Restaurant, Sports Centre, Archery, Beach Access etc., it is modern but the style is of an old english village. It is well done. There was still some construction but this was away from Greenwich Cottage. Greenwich Cottage is smart, tidy and clean. There was plenty of space for 6 Adults and two early teens. The outlook was good with plenty of space for ball games, short walks around themeadow, ponds and down to the beach. We visted Staithes, Whitby, Scarborugh, Filey, and the Puffin viewing near Flamborough Head, all were memorable. Stay away from Bridlington!
Many thanks for your review. I'm glad you enjoyed your holiday - particularly having travelled so far!

"A superb cottage in a great location"
We had a 3 night stay at Greenwich Cottage and found that everything about it was excellent. The cottage is very clean, well equipped, comfortable and in a great location for the nearby places of interest and attractions. No complaints at all, would highly recommend.
It's great to hear you enjoyed your stay and that both the cottage and its location were what you were looking for - we hope to welcome you back in the future. Kind Regards, Nick and Alison Parker

"Excellent accomodation - home from home!"
Our stay in Greenwich Cottage was fantastic. Our total party consisted of 4 adults and 4 children, one of which was a baby. The cottage was in an exceptional condition, everything you would ever need was there, even tea, coffee and sugar, a tea towel and washing up liquid. Some of the things you may forget when going self-catering but these were provided which was an added bonus. There were also lots of books and games and DVD's which were great for the children. The cottage is decorated to a high standard and furnished well throughout, it really was lovely, the beds were so comfortable. The site in parts in still under construction but as we stayed at the weekend this did not affect us at all. The swimming pool was great for the kids (a bit cold for me) but the children had a great time. We didn't go to the pub or café so cannot comment on those. We will definitely be returning to the cottage in the near future.
Thanks so much for your review - it's great to hear when guests have really enjoyed their stay. We stay in a lot of self catering cottages ourselves so try and provide everything we would expect, and hope,to find. We would love to welcome you and your family back again. Nick and Alison Parker
