Description

fishermans chapel is a 19th centuray converted chapel located in the heart of filey it is close to all ameneties and only a short walk to the 5* beach.

it is only a short walk to many of the parks and gardens and you will also find many restraunts and cafes near by.

the apartment is accessed from the front of the building and there is a lift which will takes you right to the door.

the apartment is also suitable for the disabled and can easily accomadate a wheel chair.

upon entering the apartment you will find it bright and airy with floor to cieling arched windows being a special feature of the apartment.

the living area is open plan with 2 x 2 seater sofa,there is a feature dining area with a drift wood chair which can accommodate up to 7 people

great for entertaining guests.

the kitchen is fully equiped with all appliances including a dishwasher.

there are 2 bedrooms the main bedroom being a double and this will accomadate a wheel chair the second bedroom is a triple and has bunkbeds and a single bed (not suitable for wheelchair).

there is a fully tiled bathroom complete with bath with shower attachment over.

all the floors are finished in a special type of wood effect flooring which is very easy to keep clean and there are no threshold strips making wheelchair movement very easy.

the apartment is heated using electric panel heaters to the main bedrooms.

there is the luxury of air-conditioniong to the main lounge and dining areas this provides heating during the colder months and cooling during the hot sticky months.

you will find flat screen tvs in the lounge and the main bedroom there is an home cinema system in the lounge for use during those relaxing evenings.

fishermans chapel is an iconic local building and the apartment reflects the architecture of this stunning building.

there is on street parking only this is restricted to 2 hours directly outside the apartment but there is plenty of parking very close by which is not restricted.

Really enjoyed our stay here . Everything that you could have needed was there . Only downside was no instructions for the tv in the living room so couldn’t get it to work . Well maintained and looked after .

On entering flat 10 Fisherman's Chapel, the bright open plan layout made it feel very spacious and welcoming and definitely a place we looked forward to spending the rest of the week in. The two bedrooms were ideal for us and our two sons. The bathroom is modern and beautifully decorated. We've stayed in a number of rental properties over the years and some of them felt claustrophobic and stuffy like you just wanted to throw the windows open and let some fresh air in. Not with this one, we felt very comfortable from the first day. There were only a couple of things we missed like wi-fi and a washing machine but we soon got used to that. The apartment is on the second floor but there is a large lift, so that was no problem for us and all our luggage! The beach is a five minute walk away and there are plenty of small shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as a Tesco just round the corner. We would highly recommend this holiday rental for young and old alike.

Clean comfortable apartment. Everything you could need. Shower could do with an update but serviceable. If there is no hot water switch behind microwave. Had a very nice time there.

The appartment was really lovely an comfy and near enough to beach for children . Only problem was bathroom door handle an shower was too cold for the children didn't get warm enough for them apart from tat was a lovely appartment

The apartment was great stayed there couple of years ago Only criticism as we opened door terrible smell of drains/sewage ? Not sure if there had been a problem but plunger in corner of bathroom ?? Bar for that Everything at hand, Chiense two doors away fantastic And the only downside loads of pigeon poo on outside window sill that could really do with cleaning weekly But Defo stay again

We have been going to Filey for many years now. The apartment was as good as we have stayed in.The location was excellent. The apartment was spacious and appealing. Even though it was December, we never felt the cold in the apartment. The shower was good with hot water at a great pressure. We would definitely recommend to others.
