“First class accommodation”

Reviewed 29 Mar 2016

The property was absolutely spotless and was so far the best property we have stayed in at the Bay. The property was well equipped and I don't have any negatives to say about it.

“Definitely Recommend :)”

Reviewed 8 Mar 2015

From start to finish we were impressed with this holiday property - ease of booking and price, email communication and clear procedures for arrival / departure day. The property had plenty of room for two adults and two children (4 & 13) and had all the home comforts you need. It was clean and fresh and had all the items required. Pleasantly surprised to find a ps3 downstairs for teenager and games and books for smaller child. Couldn't get the ps2 in the smaller bedroom to work but only a minor thing and not really needed anyway! Note, it isn't bunk beds in the second bedroom as advertised but two single beds. Bit disappointed that there was no outdoor table and chairs but could have just been because it was February! Bathroom shower door needs a new seal as is is broken but the shower was lovely so made up for that! On site facilities were good - clean pool and book able activities if required. Didn't take advantage of the pub or cafe but looked nice. Site really could benefit from a shop though. Walk down to the beach was quite far and it is possible to walk to Filey along the beach from the site, however we learnt this was a 10k round trip! Generally very pleased and would definitely use again and recommend to friends and family.

“Apartment nice.”

Reviewed 11 Sep 2014

My husband and teenage son booked for a week, the apartment was clean and had everything you needed the only downside was that the bedrooms were very bright in the morning, could do with some kind of blackout curtains or blind.Would say this place is more suited to young children & you really need a car as thier is not alot going on there. Beach is lovely and you could walk to Filey from there.

“Just what we needed!”

Reviewed 19 Aug 2014

Beautiful accommodation, home from home, but bring beach/ swimming towels and toilet paper! We had an amazing holiday made even better with on site activities (extra charge, but worth it) and swimming pool. Beach amazing, been a lover of Foley for 30 years and this complex has made the area even better.

“Clean well equiped”

Reviewed 12 May 2014

very enjoyable short stay in this very well equiped and clean holiday let. I stayed with wife and my two teenage grandaughters who spent lots of time in the pool just up the road. Very nice south facing sitting out aera at rear of the property. Exccelent. A little dissapointed as there was no wi fi as yet to keep the girls happy, although to be fair we were told before hand. Other than that first class.

“Excellent and clean accommodation in a lovely and pieceful location!”

Reviewed 5 Mar 2014

From booking to staying at the property our visit was wonderfully easy and relaxing. The property is homely but modern and very clean. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a coastal break away as the onsite facilities are within easy reach and the private beach is beautiful. One of the few properties within the complex that had beautiful country views. Highly recommended.

“Brilliant family accomodation on an excellent park”

Reviewed 14 Aug 2013

Brilliant clean welcoming accommodation which was just perfect for our family holiday. The Bay is well located for trips to Filey, Scarborough and the access to the beach is easy. The only thing 'missing' from the accommodation was a drying rack for the swimming towels. Otherwise well equipped. The facilities on the Bay are good (eg restaurant, swimming pool, private beach). The Bay (holiday park) would benefit from a small shop with bread, milk, newspaper etc (Pharmacy does not meeting these needs - very limited stock and opening times)

“great little home away, very nicely equipped, clean and welcoming.”

Reviewed 14 Aug 2013

very tidy and clean. well equipped. Nothing to fault in the property at all. local shops a bit of a trek but fine in car. great for family hols. beaches close but again you need a car really.

“Perfection”

Reviewed 26 Jul 2013

The cottage was wonderful and had everything you could want on a self catering holiday, cosy and lovely mattresses and bedding, the site is very relaxing and I go regularly with my family to have a peaceful break but also be near the facilities, pool, gym, pub, beach and just a 15 minute stroll along the beach into Filey.

“Beautiful cottage, perfect location.”

Reviewed 13 Jun 2013

This was my fifth visit to this fantastic cottage, situated perfectly on a superb small complex that is equipped with a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, gym, tennis court, numerous activities (this year we tried archery and sea scooters) café, pharmacy and pub. The cottage has a lovely homely feel and is equipped very well for all your needs. There is nothing with the cottage that I could fault. It has always been very clean and booking is very easy. It is perfect for a relaxing get away, would definitely recommend it!
