"Review of Seascape Filey"
We had a 4 night stay & found the cottage a home from home, warm & spotlessly clean. The facilities were excellent both in the property & the Gym, Sauna & Swimming Pool. We enjoyed a game of pool at the onsite Pub & restaurant. We took the short walk down to the beech & walked into Filey which was wonderful. We were very lucky with the weather for November, having clear, bright sunny days, a nice treat. We would definitely recommend this to our family & friends & we look forward to returning shortly.

"Lovely spacious open plan family holiday home"
Excellent swimming pool which is included in the price, which also has sauna and steam room, also good size baby pool. Very good cafe/bistro next door to pool which does tasty pizza and pasta. Nice walk to beach. Not too far from filey, scarboro and bridlington. Already recommended to friends and family.

"Much better than staying in a hotel!"
We likened The Bay Holiday Village to ' The Truman Show' film - all rather perfect! Having the basics there (salt, vinegar, dishwasher tabs, wash powder etc), towels supplied and beds made up took all the hassle of self-catering away leaving the benefits. We took a lovely ten minute walk directly on to the beach then a 35 minute walk along the clean sand into Filey for a cappuccino on the beach. A swim, steam and sauna (just 2 mins away) added to the luxury as did the extra tv in the bedroom.

"Fantastic accommodation, great resort, lovely beach"
We had a fantastic time, the accommodation had everything we needed and more. It was lovely and comfortable and very modern. The Bay was a great resort, which felt very safe for our young kids, who played out happily on thier scooters. The bar and cafe on site need to improve the quality of thier food and the range of food,on offer, but the sports centre and pool was great. Walk to the beach was so easy, and the beach was clean and very quiet, just brilliant!!!

"Good accommodation in a great location"
Seascape is on a purpose built Hoseasons site about 2 miles from Filey. At the time of our stay there was still some construction work going on to finish the site. The site looks like a new housing estate, but don't let that put you off. The holiday homes are new, well equipped (dishwasher, washer dryer etc) and very well maintained. The Seascape cottage was very comfortable and the perfect base for our stay. The owners, Fiona and Pete, provided a lot of information about the local area, and the arrival basket of cereals, jam and teas was also a nice welcome touch. Their customer service in booking was also excellent. As for the area, the vast expanse of (often deserted) beach between Filey and Bempton Cliffs (which is great for a bracing cliff top walk) is a 10 minute walk out the back of the complex, and the sand is solid enough for pushing buggies on and walking all the way to Filey. On the site itself, there is a great swimming pool and a sauna and steam room. There's also a pub (decent food) and small convenience shop. Other than one slide there is no children's play area but I hope Hoseasons have some plans to address that in completing the site. Bridlington and Scarborough are a short drive away, and Whitby is about 45 mins. Filey is a nice little town to spend a day walking around and sitting on the sea front watching the world go by. All in all, a great place for a break.

"Relaxing home from home holiday"
The cottage was very well presented. Really home from home having everything you could possibly need. It was clean and tidy and the welcome pack was fantastic. The site was very tidy concidering they are still building other cottages & houses. The swimming pool was clean and had plenty of other activities available if you wanted them. The walk down to the beach wasn't to bad mostly flat but did get a little steep closer to the beach. Some people did drive down most of the way and parked about 200 yards from the beach. We all had a fantastic holiday the kids really enjoyed the pool and loved chilling back at the cottage on an evening. We would definately recommend to everyone we know.
