"Well located and peacful"
Beautiful little cottage surrounded by the gardens of the main (owners)house. Our 4 dogs were made very welcome and with a secure garden we could let them loose without problems.Well located in the heart of the best part of the Cotswolds with Burford , Bourton on the Water and Stow on the Wold all very close. Kitchen was well stocked and even a carrot cake was there to greet us.

"Perfect Costwold Home Away from Home"
This is an ideal place to stay in the Cotswolds – between Burford and Stow-on-the-Wold. We first stayed at Peacocks in 1985 (one of the first guests!) and have returned numerous times since. The grounds and gardens are perfect with the sights and sounds of llamas and other animals to complete the idyllic experience. Peacocks is a self contained wing of an attractive Cotswold country home, beautifully decorated and equipped. It is a perfect place to stay whether hiking in the area, visiting the many local attractions and historic sites, shopping and dining (or bringing back something to eat from the Huffkins bakery in either Burford or Stow). The owners are a terrific couple who make this a true home away from home.

We have just returned from our second stay at Peacock's Cottage and yet again made to feel very welcome & comfortable. On arrival there is always tea / coffee / milk and biscuits which stops the inevitable rush to find somewhere to find milk after a long journey. The cottage is beautifully clean, bedding is lovely with beautiful soft pillows. The cottage is very well situated for access to all the key areas of the Cotswolds, with beautiful tourist villages right on your doorstep. For children there is a Falconry Center, Wildlife Park & a huge Maize Maze close by - which are fabulous places to visit. The cottage is situated just outside the village and if it is peace you are looking for, then look no further. As a family, we would highly recommend staying here. Boreham Family

"My home away from home"
I have been staying at Peacocks at least once a year since 2003 (and sometimes twice) and it has become my favorite getaway place. The cottage has everything you need - and more, and is very comfortable. On rainy days it's a lovely place to stay in and read or relax. It is quiet, in a beautiful rural setting (the view from the kitchen window is wonderful), yet close to Burford and Stow-on-the-Wold so anything you might need is nearby. The area is full of beautiful villages, lots of walking and hiking trails, great pubs, historic cities nearby - you are spoiled for choice. I see new places every time I go, as well as revisiting favorites. The owners are so welcoming and charming, and very helpful. Every time I leave I can't wait for my next visit.
