Description

Hookless Holiday Homes are located in the sunny south east corner of Ireland and are approximately a two hour drive from Dublin and about 45 minutes from Wexford town and Rosslare Harbour.

Our self catering houses are fully furnished to the highest standards with 3 en suite bedrooms (2 with walk in wardrobes), a conservatory style kitchen/diner and a large spacious lounge and decking at both the front and the back of the houses.

Our 3 bed cottages have a nautical feel which at just a stones throw from the beach you will feel right at home. With decking surrounding both the front and back of the houses you can enjoy both the morning and evening sun making alfresco dining a must for you and your family.

House layout

These bright airy houses comfortably sleep 6. Each house contains three bedrooms, the bedroom downstairs can be a double or twin and the upstairs contains main bedroom with double bed and the third bedroom can be a double or a twin. With en-suite bathrooms in every room and walk in wardrobes in the two upstairs you will have all the comfort and space you need. The conservatory style kitchen is fitted with all mod cons and has double doors opening onto a large decking area which is perfect for those relaxing sunny evenings.

Outside

Hookless self catering holiday homes are are situated on a private and peaceful five acre site which boasts fantastic sea views and an abundance of activities for all the family including a basketball and a tennis court, astro turf soccer ground and 2 children's play areas. While the kids are busy playing, the adults can relax in the picnic area and make use of the barbeque facilities and seating areas overlooking the picturesque Sandeel Bay

Whether you are seeking a leisure break, a family holiday or other specialist activities, a warm friendly welcome awaits all visitors to the Hook Peninsula. There is a large collection of water activities that all visitors can avail of canoeing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, snorkelling, scuba diving, fishing and swimmingh over 14 beaches to choose from, your pick of fine dining, beautiful countryside views and an area steeped in history you are guaranteed a holiday to remember and you and your family will make memories that will last a life time and have you coming back year after year.

The Hook Peninsula is rich in culture and tradition, ensuring it is the ideal area for unwinding and relaxing from your busy schedule. It is distinctly different from the rest of the country and possesses a landscape, history, culture and character of its own. Local attractions range from the medieval hook lighthouse and Loftus Hall to the historic Dunbrody and Tintern Abbey and the famous replica Dunbrody famine ship. Each location entertains and inspires their visitors through their age and beautiful craftsmanship but the only way to really enjoy these attractions is to visit them yourself

Please note:
Slainte in Ramsgrange will be doing trad music every night and live bands every weekend. There will be a curtesy bus that will be in Hookless on the hour every hour to collect and deliver people to and from.
Also the chipper in Slainte can deliver food to the homes- we will have menu and details in every house.

Each house will have a little starter pack i.e. a little firewood, firelighter, a couple of dishwashing tablets, some toilet rolls etc.
If someone wants to arrive in Hookless out of hours i.e. after the checkin time of 4.30-7. There will be an additional fee of €50 charged to that person
If there is a call out to a house and the guest has is responsible for the issue. The guest will be charged €50.

Pets are welcome but there is an additional payment required of €35 per stay and are the responsibility of their owners at all times.

Would highly recommend this destination for teenagers. Loads to do. Houses are fab, only downside was the tiny fridge..

“Nice but could be much better”

Rented 5 houses for group of 22 extended family. Overall the houses are nice and all bedrooms are en-suite including downstairs bedrooms which were great for disabled/elderly. Good value also. Houses could do with being better equipped - hardly any cooking utensils - very cheap fitted kitchens - very few hangers for clothes - bath mats given as hand towels - no hooks on any doors for hanging towels etc. - no sanitary units for bathroom accessories - no satellite TV which is advertised - no Wifi in houses - houses could also do with being cleaned better -

I am not sure where you seen advertised that we have satellite TV as this is something we never had or advertised at HOokless. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
