Description from owner

Description

This former small school on the countryside of Le Marche is now a wonderfull holiday home with private swimming pool. The house consists of a big living/kitchen with a great view on the stunning landscape, so typicall for Le Marche, a big hall way, two proper bedrooms (one with shower/sink and double bed and one with double bed and extra bed), a separate toilet and a big, luxureous bathroom with double sink, bath and seperate walk-in shower.

The interior of the house is fresh and modern, with nice details from the past such as the original floortiles and the door at the entrance. As the owners (family of 5) spend a lot of their holidays here themselves, the house is maintained with love and very well equiped; there are plenty of towels and enough kitchen linnen, as well as a dishwasher, washingmachine, bbq etc.

The garden contains 3 terraces (one with 4 sunbeds, one with a loungeset and one with dinnerset) and a above floor swimmingpool (approx. 7 x 3,5 x 1.35). Also there

The garden contains 3 terraces (one with 4 sunbeds, one with a loungeset and one with dinnerset) and a above floor swimmingpool (approx. 7 x 3,5 x 1.35). Also there are 2 hammocks to relax in. The views are breathingtaking whatever way you look and the sunset will never bore you... A wonderfull place for an Italian holiday on the countryside.

The house is suitable both for couples who want to enjoy the silence, as well for families with children (like ourselves). The garden is fenced, the stairs of the swimmingpool can be removed for the savety of young children and there is a big box with toys to play with. For older children it is a great place to explore nature and go searching for small treasures and see animals like deer if you're lucky. As there is as good as no traffic near the house, it's save to let them 'run around'. Also there is a trampoline in the garden.

If you feel like having a coffee or icecream, you just go down hill by car and you get in the centre of the small city of Fossombrone within 10 min. Here you'll also find supermarkets, restaurants, shops and a weekly market. The beach (Fano) is reached within 30 min from the house and there are plenty of nice places to visit nearby, like Urbino (15 min).

Location description from owner

The Marche region

The house is located on a beautifull positio, high on the hill. That's why you have great views from most rooms in the house and most of the garden. Also the sunset is stunning seen from the terraces on the back of the house. Another advantage of the location is the silence. Here you don't hear traffic noises or music, just the sounds of natures. Very relaxing... If you feel like some entertainement, this is also nearby. Just take the car to Fossombrone (10 min) or another place around and enjoy your icecream, drink etc. there.

Fermignano

Le Marche is a fantastic rural region in the middle of Italy. The landscape looks a lot like that of Tuscany with the beautifull hills and small little villages. The biggest difference is that Le Marche is not crowded by turists. This is also the reason that some people call the region: The best kept secret of Italy' or 'The new, better Tuscany'.

There are plenty of nice places to visit, who have nice old centres and churces etc. Some famous places are Urbino, Fano, Urbania, Senigallia and Loreto.

The coastline (Adriatic) is beautifull. Mostly sand beaches and around Ancona also some cliffs and beaches with small rocks. Some with daybeds for rent, others free to stay. The water is in general very clean (Bandiera Blu) and because of the rocks they've put in sea, very save to go into with (small) children.
