Description

A Luxury Lodge located on Bockenfield Country Park in the heart of Northumberland and situated between the Market towns of Morpeth and Alnwick. Bockenfield is a small child friendly park and offers an ideal location for exploring the Northumbrian countryside and coast. The Lodge has two bedrooms, one double and one twin and one bathroom. It has a spacious and light living area and a large private decked area to the back of the property which has a sunken hot tub.

We had a wonderful stay at Collingwood Lodge, a very pleasant welcome pamper was very much appreciated, and lots of extra touches taken care of for example toys for kids and PS3 even though we were not travelling with children we could see how this would be a benefit. Great location private hot tub over looking a burn with a couple of ducks. Just lovely. The only thing we felt we were missing was an outside light for when we were outside in the hot tub at night or sitting out with our dinner as the dark night closed in. The location of collingwood lodge was great for exploring local attractions you couldn't ask for a better location. The lodge is very homely and welcoming. Extremely clean and we would love to return in the future because we had such a wonderful time. Thank you.

Great lodge. lovely bedding and towels .Very comfy. loads of extras. fantastic stay . Northumberland Arms in Felton amazing food. 5 minute drive. Great play area for kids and loads of toys and ps3 in lodge.very quiet.

We visited last weekend and what a lovely place. Cabin was immaculate and very homely. Nice little touches left for visitors and everything there that you could possibly need. The site was great for families and dogs, and the locals were very friendly. Extremely pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone. Our pooch Colin had s wonderful time he was very relaxed as you can see in the photo

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Joanne (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
