Description

Feel at home in my updated but quaint cottage on a scenic rural hillside. Although I'm at home your stay is self catering stay and includes one private bedroom, shared bathroom, living room, kitchen with spring water on tap and use of garden to sit in when weather permits.

Originally a traditional two roomed thatched cottage this cottage was converted to a two story slate roof when people who had emigrated to the USA in the 1800's sent money home. It has had many renovations since, including a large bathroom, kitchen and studio cottage, the improvements are never ending which is the norm with these elderly houses!

We have two house cats who also have their own house outside, also a small honesty shop just outside the gate with seasonal organic vegetables from the local organic farmer. Solar panel supplies hot water and drinking water is from our own spring well.

There are many short walks nearby and also some longer hikes, return to a warm night
