“Wonderful!”

Reviewed 27 May 2014

We have spent a week in the cottage with our family. We were warmly welcomed by Maureen! The cottage was spotless and well maintained. The quintessentially English decor we found charming. The children enjoyed themselves in the playground with a super rope-way. We also visited Leeds Castle, Dover Castle and Canterbury. The kids loved Paul's Park because of Peppa Pig :-) Maureen, thanks!

“Brilliant location”

Reviewed 16 Jun 2013

Cottage was spotless, every thing you need, owners very friendly and couldn't do more for you. There are loads of leaflets where to visit nearby. The cottage is in lovely peaceful surroundings, but ten minute drive to the beautiful town of Faversham , where there is a lovely museum, quaint old shopping centre and old period homes. Well worth the visit. The location is close to Canterbury, only 30mins away by car. We would recommend this holiday to everyone, we were never wondering what to do to amuse ourselves. Can't recommend this location enough.

“Country Retreat FaverSham”

Reviewed 16 Jun 2013

The cottages at Country Retreat are situated in a beautiful quiet location yet convenient for the local towns of Faversham and Sittingbourne and only 20 minutes drive from Canterbury. The cottages themselves are clean, comfortable and very well equipped and the owners Maureen and Robin stay close by and are exceptionally helpful and attentive to your needs. My party consisted of myself, my daughter, my 3 year old granddaughter and 2 dogs and this location was perfect as there was a play park area and plenty of safe grassed areas with no threat of traffic. Definitely a location worth visiting.

“A real home from home.”

Reviewed 15 Jun 2013

We received excellent service from the owners who gave us a warm welcome on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Beautiful views. Our dog loved the scents especially the rabbits! All amenities nearby - We enjoyed visiting the coast, especially Broadstairs and also went inland to Canterbury and Chilham. We hope to go back for another visit.

“Great place to stay, great for the kids A+”

Reviewed 29 Aug 2012

We spent a week in "Rose Cottage" and the accomodation was fantastic, well worth the money, spotlessly clean, beds very comfortable. We have 11 & 9 year old girls and they loved having access to the garden and zip- wire. After a long day seeing the sights in the area it was great to be able to unwind knowing the kids could keep themselves entertained out in the garden. We had a lovely time and the hosts were lovely. Would definately go again.
