In the heart of the historic centre of Heraklion, a stay on a sailing boat moored by the Venetian Koules fortress is surely very original and charming way to discover from close the amazing, though controversial, old city centre.

It's a boat, how often does anyone get to stay on a boat? If you would like to live this experience, Blu waits for you!

Guests are welcomed on board and get a detailed explanation on practical things they need to know while staying on this boat! The boat is yours! It does, however, have to stay tied to the dock for safety and insurance reasons, however...

For sailing lovers, when the weather conditions allow it, it is possible to hire a Professional and Certified Captain or Skipper on request for a unique sailing trip on the beautiful sea around the city or even at the beautiful island of Dia! This can be arranged even after your arrival. The price depends on the length of the trip, how many guests on board and kind of services (for instance - lunch included or paddleboard lessons included)!

The boat is located at the Venetian harbour of Heraklion, allowing the tourists to enjoy a very unique walk around the city. This old harbour, is now used by fishing boats and yachts and its history is as ancient as that of the city itself!

During your stay at the boat you won't need a car. Blu boat is at walking distance to major point of interest in the old city such as bars, restaurants, monuments and souvenir shops. Even if you arrive by airplane, the airport is 4km away and it has a very frequent bus transport to the city center!
