A recently, stylishly converted barn, furnished with antique, vintage and quirky finds. No two rooms are the same and each has lots of character, in keeping with a building over 200 years old.

Each of the 4 bedrooms is provided with a TV, is en suite and, of course, full of individual touches. Two have king size beds, one a double and the fourth twin beds. Two of the bedrooms are downstairs, one of which has a large wet room and is therefore suitable for guests of limited mobility.

There is a large, well equipped kitchen diner with utility, a large sitting room with four squashy sofas and a wood burning stove plus a snug fifth bedroom with a sofa bed. Children's cots and guest beds can also be provided.

Fantastic walks from the door step, great places to eat and numerous gardens, market towns, castles and pretty black and white villages to visit. For the energetic, nearby you will find horse riding, kayaking, climbing, paintballing, mountainbiking and lots more. Located on a working sheep farm there are always animals to see. Along with the sheep and lambs, there are chickens, pigs and ducks. Watch a lamb being born or the hay being made for the winter.

Home made and local goodies provided. Ideally situated for Hay-on-Wye, the book capital of the UK and home to the literary festival in early Summer and Winter. Browse the multitude of second hand book shops, antique and vintage stores along with other lovely independent shops.

Many great food festivals nearby, including Ludlow, Abergavenny and Hereford.

The Stable - property no 1141997 is also on the same site and when booked with Cothill Barn, can accommodate up to 16 guests.
