From the owner

This is a charming cottage set in rural surroundings and overlooking the River Lossie. An open log fire is laid ready for your arrival, the beds are made with carefully ironed linen and everything we think you might need is provided. Accommodation includes one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, a cosy sitting room and a bright kitchen/dining room. A barbecue sits waiting for the summer sun to be enjoyed in the enclosed garden. A maximum of 2 dogs is allowed by arrangement.

The area has so much to offer. There are long sandy beaches along the Moray Firth, places for gentle rambling or more challenging hill walks and too many golf courses to mention! This is also castle country with Brodie Castle, Ballindalloch Castle and Cawdor Castle all within easy reach for a morning's outing and many more just a little further afield. If you have a passion for an interest in Malt Whisky we are on the Whisky Trail which starts with Dallas Dhu and continues on through the Spey Valley, all about a half hour's drive away. And of course being so near the Rivers Findhorn and Spey there is salmon fishing to be had and sometimes on the River Lossie adjacent to the cottage when the river is in spate.

Naturally there is a television and DVD player , a radio and CD player. WIFI and a telephone land-line is provided as mobile signals can be erratic.

Wonderful cottage

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Angela (the owner) a message.

If Angela (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
