Kamini is a quiet picturesque fishing village just off the main port of Hydra. The Majestic Sea View Apartment is located within a short distance of the Kamini Port, 5 minutes away by water taxi from the main port of Hydra, or approx. 15-20 minutes walking distance along the scenic coastline path.

We are among a cluster of 4 apartments each with separate access. Built in the traditional architecture of the island from natural stone that is also found on the island, which can be seen both in the interior walls and the external facade of the building.

Our apartment sleeps 2 adults & 2 small children comfortably and would also be a great romantic getaway location for a couples without children or even the individual traveler seeking tranquility & rest.

From the apartment's balcony there are breathtaking views of the sea, the Peloponnese mountain and beautiful sunsets, with ferries, yachts and fishing boats sailing by.

Most cafes, restaurants & night-life are in and around the main Port of Hydra, but there are a few lovely restaurants close by in Kamini; as well as a small supermarket for shopping within close walking distance & they can also arrange for deliveries of your purchases.

There are no cars on the island, which makes it quite safe for little ones, as everything is reached by foot or water taxis (small boats) and sometimes by donkeys.

There are opportunities for great walks around the island including the numerous alleys & streets just waiting to be explored.

Lovely small pebble beaches to enjoy, some easily reached by foot & others are only accessible by water taxis. Mikro (small) Kamini is the closest to the apartment (under 10 minutes by foot) and is a great spot for kids to play, while Vlychos another small organised beach, only 15 minutes away.

There are 2 small bedrooms, each with 1 double bed. A Baby Cot is also available upon request. 1 bathroom with standard shower and an open plan kitchen/dining and living room area. The kitchen is equipped with all basic utensils and utilities - fridge, stove/oven, kettle, toaster, plate rack for drying dishes, crockery etc.
There is no Television on the premises, but there is a small Radio/CD player for relaxation, a fireplace for those colder months and electric heaters in each room for additional warmth in the winter. The bedrooms and the dining area is equipped with ceiling fans for cooling those hot summer days.

There is a small terrace at the entrance with a little cushioned cove for sitting and relaxing and a large balcony leading from the living room with table and chairs for eating outdoors or just to enjoy the view.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Charlene (the owner) a message.

If Charlene (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
