With so much to do on your doorstep in the historic 1066 country, this substantial holiday cottage is the perfect location for a family holiday or short break throughout the year. With many castles, historic sites, water sports, golf and of course the huge sandy beach The White House will keep all ages entertained. The medieval town of Rye with its boutique shops and restaurants is only a few miles away and can be explored from the comfortable base of this comfortable holiday cottage in the heart of White Sands.

Welcome to a The White House, Camber. You and your family and friends will love this contemporary three-storey fisherman style cottage with it's picturesque white weather board finish that is perfectly positioned, just five minutes from the wonderful camber sands beach.

This modern, self-catering holiday cottage on the a White Sand development in Camber near Rye has been furnished to a high specification and has a lovely coastal theme to help you relax on your coastal holiday. The cottages' sociable layout helps everyone to relax whether for you that means family dinners around the dining table in the open kitchen-diner, or taking time out just for you in the garden or first-floor sitting room over-looking sheep studded marshland.

Upon entering the cottage you will arrive in the hallway with downstairs cloakroom (WC and hand washbasin)

The downstairs area also boasts a fabulous, large dual aspect kitchen diner equipped with dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, extractor fan, electric oven and hob, kettle, toaster, microwave and coffee machine. The large Dining table area has room for 8 and there are French doors that lead to enclosed garden, perfect for al fresco dining the garden is complete with table, parasol and chairs.

The ground floor of The White House also has the cottages 4th bedroom, with twin beds.

The First Floor of the White House has a dual aspect sitting room with two sofas, a comfortable armchair and coffee table, electric coal effect fire, flat screen TV, DVD, YouView digibox and Nintendo Wii plus lots of games. WiFi is also available at The White House.

Or if you simply want to unwind with a glass of wine and a good book, the sitting room has French doors that lead onto the south facing sunny balcony.

The cottages 2nd bedroom is on the first floor, this room has a kingsize bed and French doors with a lovely Juliet balcony.

Up on the Second Floor (great views) there is a Master bedroom, with kingsize bed, en suite shower room, walk in shower, wc and basin.

Bedroom 3, also on the second floor, has children's bunk beds and a pull out single bed.

The Family bathroom on the second floor has a double ended bath, shower, WC and handbasin.

The White House takes it name from it's white weatherboards, but it could also pass as being a 'bright house'. It has a light and sunny aspect that will be sure to give you that holiday feeling.

The cottage has parking for one car on the drive and free street parking in front of the cottage.

The White House is the perfect cottage for large family or friend groups to holiday together, the cottage is also dog-friendly so Fido can also come and enjoy the beach.

Close to Rye a very picturesque town. Beach accessible easily though I had forgotten how wind and sand can interact. Given the age range staying 1 to 65 plus old dog it all worked out quite well

Really lovely 1 night stay - with family and dog. Rooms very comfortable and nicely decorated. Brilliant breakfasts and amazing cappuccinos. Perfect location on Rye High Street. Staff super friendly.

Very nice to arrive with a lovely cake, a nice loaf of bread, milk and wine. The house was well equipped, we needed for nothing.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
